In our society, gambling is always been considered as an evil coz history witnesses that gamblers lost everything in gambling. Gambling is an addiction which make u loose all your wealth, destroys relations and even make you mentally upset. Gambling on occasion just for FUN is not a bad thing but practicing it daily to earn money is really bad and a shameful thing

Unfortunately, societal norms dictates that people frown upon gambling and gamblers. It is the world we live in but personally, i don't let it bother me at all. Some people drink, some gamble, some do all sorts of other things that they find pleasure in, that's generally the way i see it. It is not up to anyone else but us individually to determine what we do with our lives, times and finances. No i don't feel shameful about gambling at all. I'm just aware of the fact that it is not to everyone else's liking.

In many cultures and countries is gambling consider as a bad thing which only the poorest and silliest ones do. Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consider gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?
Let others know!
Actually Im not a full pledge gambler. I do gambling almost once amount I'll just do it when I have an extra money and wantbto risk it to earn more. So that, im not shame to say that I also do gambling because I know I can still control myself in doing it. Im still not greed in terms of it. How come can i'll be shame. I just do it for fun nad not taking it seriously. |

Some people dont think of it as being shameful because they are proud if they win. Some people dont let the other know that he is gambling while some others dont care the opinion of other people . It depends on the society as well because some society dont really like people that gamble but in some society they just dont care about it |

Why do I have to do that, since I'm going to have some good time, and I'm going to make the most of it. In the other hand, what am I going to win from thinking if am I shamefull or not ! that way I will surely Spoil my perfect fun. Also, gambling could be a source of money, by winning a single bet my life could be changed 180 degrees. Like the experience of the famous dan bilzerian who is one of the richest man in the world.
' I believe those that feel shameful are those that are irresponsible at home and wouldn't want people to see them gamble some money away, there are a lot of pro gamblers out there but they are just fine with what they do because they live responsibly and have nothing to worry about. Probably that's how he or she started. The person that is just hanging around and not taking responsibilities for their actions are most likely to want instant riches and gambling is a way for that. If you think about it, it makes sense because all they want is natural way and not caring about anything in the world. gambling for some people are not just about responsibility . but when other people around you feel and recognise gambling as something that not respectful work , you will think that you should be shameful doing that. so it is actually about how gambling treated in different way and point of view. Actually some people do care if you are rich from gambling. If you can win from gambling that would require massive luck and if you can become rich then people will be amazed by that. Alot of people that are rich from gambling doesnt really let the other know about because some people think it is not appropriate to tell anyone about gambling |

Yeah all the time, i'm feeling shame because gamble is the way lead to social evil in my country , so people are having the bad view about it.
It's not your fault and I think there's nothing you can do about it except ignoring them. It's normal for the community to label you as bad when you are a gambler. Maybe it is because of behavior shown by those people they've met there. The best thing you can do is to show them that you are not like those gamblers that they saw before. Don't let other people affect you, when you are real gambler you should be clever and not too emotional because that is gonna be your weakness, don't mind other people say, just do your thing, besides it's your money and you have the right to use it at your own discretion. No one is claiming here that this is their money. It’s his money and he have right to use it whatever he wants to do with. Besides, don’t you think we are here to give good advices to people? If you are seeing someone drowning in swimming pool, what will you do? Or you just sit on chair seeing him drawing, and you say, it is his life let him do what he wants to do? Think about it. Nothing new with the society, views and opinions into something will not change. It has been said that gambling is like a sort of evil activity because it drags gambler to lose more of their funds until they lost everything and it ruins individuals lives. |

You dont need to see it as some sin or something like that. It should be as normal as any other fun activity. As you mentioned, it is your hobby, so be it a hobby and dont let it become something strange. If you see gambling as a fun activity, and limit your involvement for that purpose only then you are good to go. You are not doing anything wrong unless you end up getting addicted. Gambling in good limits is very playfull and fun and one of the emerging ideas to extract recreation. |

Maybe I'd be shameful if I'd continue my life with gambling. I'm playing just for adrenaline and enjoy. But in my country, gamblers are seen as shameful people.
If gambling is wrong and embarrassing by the majority of people in your country, then you have a good reason why you're ashamed to be a gambler. We ignore it or not, spicy speech from people when we are seen doing things that are considered shameful can affect our minds. We must always be strong, because otherwise we will be considered low, and that is shameful. As long as it's not illegal in your jurisdiction it's not a crime to gamble and there is nothing to be shamed if you did not create a crime. This is a way of entertaining ourselves and we are ready to spend even if we lose money here because the excitement cannot be get from other activities. If you are playing gambling just for fun seeking or to experience something new in your life, then being a gambler is not a shameful thing because you are not giving harm to someone from your winning however you have won it with your efforts but stills it’s very hurting for the one who loses money against you. On the other hand, if you are playing to make money from it, then your gambling is a shameful thing because you don’t deserve that money and you haven’t made any physical efforts to earn this money. |

It depends on the society as well because some society dont really like people that gamble but in some society they just dont care about it No shame but there is nothing called worthy proud if we win because in a certain sense, gambling has been evaluated as an inappropriate thing to society and law violations, gamblers are just lazy people and rely on luck to make money from others, so nothing is proud. We do not tell people we gambled and did not care about the opinions of others, that is what I think we should do if we are not ashamed when we are a gambler, the pressure from society will make us very upset, not telling them anything that will be the best, we feel no fault with ourselves, that's okay, no need to think of other people's opinions |

In the first place, if someone just gambles for fun, I think they shouldn’t be considered as gambler. On the other hand, if I were a gambler, I think I will not feel ashamed because I chose it. And it’s the rule of the thumb. One should not be ashamed of something he or she has personally chosen. Anyway, the positive side of being a gambler is that, they have strong fighting spirit and the ability to take risk. The only problem is that, they use these abilities negatively.

Then maybe you are enjoying gambling so much that is why you don't feel anything and its okay to enjoy life even through gambling for as long as you will not use anyone's money or owe someone money for the sake of gambling then everything is okay. |

When I experienced that in my life before being a gambler brings me to a worst life because l have a lot of debts. Into lm hiding to all people looking for me to get my payment. I'm so much shameful because they used to blotter me at barangay for no payments on my debts. |

I'm not a gambler but those who are, I dont think they are ashame they are gamblers. some are so professionals that they even make gabling their profession  . Ang those who are addicted and been into it for a long time and had lost a lotand been opposed by their family, i dont think they feel shame, they even hate their family because they are opposing them. |
