Do you feel shameful for being a gambler?

I don't think so. Gambling is a great help to the economy and to the society as a whole. Through gambling we were able to generate funds to help the unfortunate individuals. We gamble to earn more. Gambling is not necessarily something bad but it always comes with a risk. Its more like of an investment activity with higher risk but of higher returns if you win. Taking a risk is a somehow a gambling activity. You gamble for something good in return. Its a courageous undertaking then I should not be shameful for it.

Not all people think the same way as you. We all know that there are addicted gamblers who became broke because of their addiction, some people are being sterotype because of those things. If they discovered that you are a gambler, they might think negatively about you even though they don't know anything about you.

I cannot find any shameful stuff for being a gambler.  I have been gambling for decades now and I have not affected my family and relatives negatively.  I only play with my free money and always make sure that I won't use any money that is allocated to my family needs.  As long as we are doing good, enjoying the gambling games and not affecting anyone negatively, i believe there is no reason to be shameful on being a gambler.

There's no need for a gambler to be ashamed of what we do. Thinking of others will say about that gambling is a shameful act, it is not. Don't listen to the community or anyone that you should be ashamed of it. What's shameful is you are gambling with a stolen fund.

That's correct that it's a shame gambling with stolen funds. It's not shame to gamble if it is your own funds, it's just we can't judge people thinking that gambling is a shameful activity. Also it is a shame that when you gamble and then your money are lose that nothing left in your pocket and you still gamble.

Gambling with stolen funds is something that a gambler should not do. That's inhuman and you are really desperate if you do this, a role model gambler should not be shameful for being a gambler but with these crazy acts that are committed by other gamblers, we are all affected as those people who witness that act will think that all gamblers are like that.

Although am still yet to commence my gambling journey as am still new to gambling. Some of my friends are seriously involve in gambling particularly football betting and they are making good money out of it. Gambling is not some thing that should be seing as something that belong the people on the underworld that one should be ashamed of people knowing that you are a gamler. Gambling is not consider as a bad thing here in my county and as such there is no point to feel ashamed of being a gambler.

Even if you find a skilled game to master, it can cause a lot of stress.

That's the nature of gambling so you need to accept it if you really want to gamble, there will be no stress actually if you are just doing it for fun because you don't really aim to win for the long term, just forgetting your loses and move on will help you to stay having fun. When we are too ambitious and we look for me, that will be the time that we will lose more and that is so stressful because we always find method to help us win in the long run.

Though I do not have any experience with gambling, what makes gambling shameful is the implications after losing/winning. People tend to be shy especially when they are drowned in debt due to gambling and not due to gambling itself. Gambling as a hobby or as an entertainment purpose does not constitute to being shameful to an individual but rather the after-effects of it. Like I said, a lot of my friends suddenly became quiet after they lost most of their resources/money due to gambling. But then again, this is a case-to-case basis and it may differ primarily on the attitude of a person.

In the starting I was thinking that I am really a bad person and I was also feeling shameful for myself to be a Gambler .
Because I was lossing much amount of Bitcoin in Bitcoin gambling Daily , my loss was be then what I was earning daily from Bitcoin and Bitcoin trading.
But in present time I am not thinking that I am bad in any manner because I have control at myself for gambling because I am making gaming for fun and in Limited amount to enjoy with my earnings and luckily I am making some earning in  Bitcoin gambling with current stretagy .
And here I would like to suggest every friends that don't be professional with Gambling , only make yourself control over such things and only enjoy instead to make big and bulk profit .

Well it is because many who are engaged in gambling and not the gamblers themselves are living irresponsible lives because many  abandon their family responsibilities and gamble their monies out because they don't know the basic rudiments of gambling and has thus created a bad name  for the noble activity of gambling.

i totally agree with you, he ought to be bold and serious as a gambler and  so if you can't control such a situation by simply ignoring those nosy people around you then what can you do then? I think it;'s best if you master courage and avoid them completely and live outside their sphere of contact.

People of the world are always the same from the beginning and flow with the show when you become successful with the gambling but they will castigate and humiliate you should things not turn your way. I also believe many gamblers live wayward lives that gets their society to see them in a demeaning way and that makes them feel ashamed of what they are doing

Yeah, Gamblers in my country are looking at a criminal if the goverment knows you're gambling. You will be locked in jail for about 2 or 3 years. They're not supporting the gambling like the US goverment.

My answer is no, why would I be shameful. I guess it's not a sin and I am not committing a crime either, for others who think gambling is very dangerous, that would only mean that they are not responsible enough to engage in a risky game. What I see is that bitcoin is a form of entertainment and based on experience, I enjoy doing it, so it's not a sin to have fun when you are not hurting others.

I agree why we ashamed of being gamblers my opinion is we don't need to ashamed it, because as we see today gambling is most popular pastimes by the people  in some other countries and most of people have gamble already. It is not wrong to gamble as long as you know some limitations and affect of gambling in your life. Not to ashamed for being gamblers because it makes you proud when you lucky to win a jackpot and become a good gambler.

Nothing to be ashame if you gamble only occasionally and to entertain yourself. But when gambling became your vice and started to affect you financially including your family, then you be ashamed for bieng an irresponsible person.
