By saying this I'm sure I'll generate a block. Smiley

Is this the beginning of the end of p2pool?

Time isn't actually relevant without a constant pool hash rate over the whole time ... and of course knowing that hash rate.

It's submitted shares that counts ... or in the case of p2pool, the sum of the difficulty of all the share-chain shares since the last block + ~10%.
... of course, vs network difficulty.

First time using a p2pool, Not going to let it scare me off, I have read a fair amount of good things about p2pools. I think we just picked a odd time to start mining in one lol. Grin

There's probably a name for that belief.  That's what keeps a gambler throwing away his money at the casino "it has to get better!".

Remember past performance, good or bad, has no impact on future performance.

At the end of the day it should even out to a little under 100% luck...

probably.

On the other hand... another week or so and a whole difficulty change will be missed.

Definitely some interesting speculation there.  The author needs to hire an editor, though Smiley
