Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Did everyone receive a payout for this block? I seem to be missing the payout to my wallet and have put in a ticket with Slush. Just wanted to see if there were any others who had an issue. Payouts for the round before and after it were received successfully.

23035   2014-10-31 23:11:34   0:28:26   3215390079   1624474   0.01259662   327928   25.27065583   confirmed

Slush found the problem and fixed it on their end:

So I have forwarded your issue to our head developer and he found technical issue related to our database.
You were right and we are really sorry for the trouble. We have fixed the problem already and now you should be able to see your missing reward on your account.

Once again thanks for reporting this bug and happy mining !

If I can be of any further help please do not hesitate to contact me again

Best regards,

Yep, I noticed a spike in my account balance too!
Well, well ..... that was a god spot eagle eye! Makes you wonder, how far back was this database bug un-spoted?

The fee is due based on the transaction size, so if you need to transfer 5 BTC from small payouts 0.01 each you need to include 500 inputs in that transaction, which will very likely take more space = bigger fee

Also if you get a payout of 1 BTC, you can spend it (without fee) immediately on the next day, but if your payout is 0.1 BTC you will need to include a fee if you want to spend it before 10 days and for 0.01 it goes to 100 days

Many thanks for the explanation.  It hadn't crossed my mind that it worked like that, but of course, it has to.  I've adjusted my Slush send threshold accordingly.  Smiley

Slush uses an auto payout, (not sure how you withdrew your btc) you set the threshold amount and when reached the pool sends to the btc address you entered when you setup your account. You need to double check and make sure you entered the correct address when you changed it (what is the address showing on your account page). If you indeed sent to an address not belonging to you it is gone. You can always msg Slush support at http://support.bitcoin.cz/Tickets/Submit

Good luck, hope it wasn't much.

I am even hoping that I loose that bet.

I just got back from taking my 3 year old son to the park to play.  Nice seeing BTC back up a little again.  Still a ways to go though.  It's possible...

Heck, I would be happy with $450.00

The reason I say that is because difficulty will be at least 43 billion next time it changes.  Could be as much as 46 billion.

What on earth are you basing that off of? It's way to early to say it will be at least 43 billion.

Look at the massive discontinuity in the estimated next difficulty graph. Bitcoin Wisdom often has a lot of trouble with the difficulty estimates after a change and it takes awhile to setting down. Another reason to not just always trust the number a calculator spits out. Smiley
Conversely, bitcoincharts tends to be more conservative, and ever since the ASICs started appearing has been a little low to start and gets closer to the final value as we get closer to the adjustment.

We're only 248 blocks into the current 2016 block round, so it's a little early to make any prediction with any accuracy. It'll probably be somewhere between bitcoinchart's estimate and bitcoinwisdom's though, as it often is, but it could end up being even higher than bitcoinwisdom or lower than bitcoincharts.

Edit: BTCinvest currently says "12.35 days left until -0.28% growth", btw. Estimates are all over the place.
