Anyone tried Nicehash before?  Also known as Westhash.  Thoughts?

I rented on Westhash during the Paycoin rush and made out very good for about a week.
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I sold during the PayCoin rush and was buying last week for p2pool

Put nice or westhash in the #1 spot on your pool list and  if you set your password to  p=.0xx put what you will take as the lowest amount like .0112 your miners will stay failed over to the next pool on your list until that price is met.

It's funny how my latest Betarigs rental started the exact same time as the wifes "Lets fuck with the internet" day. Had to pay out 3 hours compensation.  Angry

Always baffles me how the pool can go so long without a block then two are struck down almost consecutively.

... because luck is a measure of the past and finding a block is not affected by the last time you found one.

Not long now before the blocks start falling over themselves seeing diff has gone up to 46.7 from 44.5 ...... fingers crossed, thats if my theory about slush's algorithm being fast to learn how to crack blocks at new diffs is right.

This is in direct correlation to how many beers one drinks.  Tongue

There is no algorithm to change how fast you find blocks and it is completely unrelated to the network difficulty other than the simple test "Is this share a block?"

FFS!!  Slow block times here.  Betarigs upgrading and ruined their site for now.  Nicehash having issues.  What a crap mining day!  Sat here looking at monitors full of misery.  Think I'll go have a jacket potato and maybe things will brighten up.

You can try till you're blue in the face, but some people just can't or won't learn.

You are so full of yourself @kkurtmann. I am sure you are not alone in the crowd that believe's that whatever is written in this thread (or forum) has to be aligned to your thinking, but as you've taken it on yourself to define me as you have I better point out to you that the reference to a slush algorithm was actually a joke (in jest of the 9.9 thresh-hold) which I am sure you've noticed the person who started it acknowledges it to be as much. I did not respond to @kano's comment because I felt embarrased for having indulged him in the joke, not because he said anything I did not know.
So all in all, I am sure you know who the fool here is .... it certainly is neither @kano nor me ... lets see!

Yup, I think the phenomenon that SargeR33 observes isn't just confined to mining pools, I get this feeling when I play in casinos too!

Oh bugger, I just sent it over 10PH/s.  Got bored and pointed 140TH/s at Slush.  I've now sent them back where they belong.  My apologies if I've kicked off a 24hr block.
