My shares seem a little high for such a small payout:

23504    2015-02-07 04:18:25    12:02:32    93488484927    9319747    0.00049722    342350    25.00865631    90 confirmations left

Any ideas?

Did you stop mining on Slush for a period of time during this round? Slush has a very aggressive algorithm which penalizes you severly for any time not mining on their pool. It ramps up to full share in only 1.5 hours but also removes any rewards within 1.5 hours if you stop mining. Even you mined for ten hours or more straight with no blocks, if you stop mining for 1.5 hours and then they get a block you get nothing of it. Not good when you need downtime on your miners.

I don't think I had that level of down time, on either of my miners, but then again I never know what happens when I am at work Sad

I am poor, but i do work for Coin Smiley

Theres an app for andoird called BTCDroid Free. Its written for Slush pool, just scan the API code into it and you can monitor your speeds while at work. You can also login to your dashboard, click workers and see what was happening with your workers.

Slush's pays well but should incorporate some sort of a PPS system along side the current. I've had my miners drop out and a block shortly found afterwards and my result was not worth the miners being on. It has happened a lot. For home miners its no good too if you have down time. I run my miners for 8hrs a day. I miss out on a fair bit of reward at night.

Seriously?? How did you even manage to join the pool? There's a little site that could help you at times like this. It's called Google.

That block did have a pool hash rate of 10 Petahash.  That could be it.  Mine was down from it's normal amount.

I have not been able to log onto Slush's Pool for two days now.
I am in the USA (Midwest). Miners are all pointed at eligius now but would love to get back onto Slush's.
Tried again this AM but still dead.
I see others have mentioned this but there does not appear to be any real solution posted??

Here's hoping. Difficulty just shot up. Either that or a butt load of miners joined the party. Reward dropped a fair bit last few blocks

Someone keeps randomly dumping big data into the pool. I think its a rental service as it doesn't seem to last long!

I'm not looking to the next 6% jump in difficulty either.

You're mining on the last remaining pool whose reward system is hoppable. What do you expect?

Not sure it is anymore. It seems to be an exponential score PPLNS hybrid since the change in the score method. Anyway, the old way of hopping certainly wont work anymore.

I wouldn't say this is the case... If you get your power out of this pool for about 1.5hrs, all effort you put in is unrewarded if you miss the block while not putting power into the pool. You need to be active when the block is found to obtain max result.

My understanding was Slush is still using the same old system it always has for score, just tweaked some of the variables to account for modern difficulty/pool size.
