yup everytime slushs crosses 10PH the block times go high, which makes no sense as we should be finding more blocks. But everytime that extra 2PH comes in blam 12+hr block time. Makes no sense whatsoever.

I have a sneaky feeling that is the same 2PH that was parked at kano.is until a few days back ..... it sure does not move around with any luck though!

What prevents a pool participant from keeping a solved block for itself? You could share the rewards if someone else solves it but keep everything for yourself if you do.

I've got a small miner running on your pool so I thought I'd vote and join the thread.

My rewards just leapt up with the addition on an SP10. Bad news is the noise. So loud! Looks like I need to hurry up and finish building my garden data centre.

right i just saw that after that long a$$ block haha
theres no way those are going to be valid also note just as we dipped below 10PH!!!!! I suspect something about this 10PH barrier everythime we cross it the long blocks come. everytime we dip below it short blocks. It makes absolutely no sense.

That's a pure newbie question right there.

Just blew a fuse. Thought I was pushing my luck. 5000W from 1 outlet. Could handle 4000W no problems. SP10 now using separate outlet so not on protected circuit. At least the system did its job properly and pop before anything bad could happen.

Smiley
5kw @120v ='s 41.666666667 amps  that will definatley do it .

now if you had 240v it would be 20.833333333 amps just would need 240v PSU's

something like these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Awesome-PSU-Rosewill-LIGHTNING-1300-1-3-KW-Cont-50-C-80-PLUS-GOLD-rating-/271766751832?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f468f8a58

Been a bit of a slowdown ... hey!? And that wih the entire network too ... (at least it seems to me). Wonder whether that recent update to the blockchain.info website has anything to do with it  Roll Eyes , it is taking a tad longer to load now it displays the entire transaction tree by default.
Still ... I expect business as usual at slush soon ....

Odd that we seem to have better luck when we're below 9.5 Ph/s.  Huh
Guess that's why they call it luck.

Hot time, summer in the city, back of my mine getting hot & gritty!!!

Yup I agree every time we cross 10PH these long blocks come. Glad to see I am not the only one noticing this odd coincidence that makes absolutely no mathmatical sense whatsoever. The higher the hash rate the more blocks you find, is what the math says. But time and time again as soon as we cross 10PH blam long a$$ block times

If you check about 30 pages back, the same was happening around 8PH mark and there were theories about server problems etc., while this time your statement is more correct:
Guess that's why they call it luck.
It's just coincidence - don't look for any conspiracy Wink

It's running cgremote. Excellent software.  Has remote access and sends emails if something goes wrong. I really wish I could turn the sp10 off for the night but this round is taking forever.
