Luck is dropping, it was artificially high because they had three blocks before the current long one and one was only 52 minutes which they consider 438% or something. Plus the long block caused the hash rate to drop, which probably doesn't help either.

There is nothing to figure. Block generation was designed purposefully to be a purely random event.

one of the blocks got orphaned/disappeared, that's the one after the 35059% luck one. so I guess we are not so lucky after all  Roll Eyes

What happened?  Nearly 3 Ph/s has fallen off the pool today.  Still, it has made the divvy-up of the few blocks found worth rather more.
