I do not know what is going on with this pool but I get much much more BTC with btcguild and deepbit pools.  I have left because something is just not right.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Hi

Yeah I don't get it either. I'm pulling almost 5 GHash/s and have been here for close to 48 hours (BTC Guild Refugee from the DDoS from hell) and have earned less the 1.9BTC a day. I'm getting less then 1% stale rate. I was donating 2.5% at BTC Guild and was still getting around 3.5 BTC a day. I have made no other miner configuration changes other then pointing to api.bitcoin.cz, I don't get it.... What should I check? Can this pool really be having that bad of luck?

I know that the difficulty just went up today, and I just received another GPU to throw online to up my MHash/s, I just don't know what else to check...

Anyone else with around 5 GHash/s want to share what you're making in a day?  Huh

If you look at the Statistics page and average the number of shared per round for the past 48 hours, you get 2.0M which is well above the difficulty (1.38M at the time).  So yes, it seems to be just bad luck.  At least for the past 2 days.  However if you look that the 3 days prior to that, the reward was above expected.

You can't accurately judge a pool by just 2 days worth of data.

With DB being down ... I'm back.  ;-)

Is there any way to interpolate my rig's current Gh/s from the score(s)?  One thing I really like about some other pools is their display of what my current % of the total pool is, and in particular my current Gh/s.

The information is useful on many levels, not the least of which is performance tuning.  I don't really have another easy way to get Gh/s totals from my dozen or so machines.

A very rough rule might be score/100?

First I was in BTC-Guild and they got DDOS to death. then I joined Deepbit and again within 2 days DDOS. I am in your pool now. How long before you guys get DDOS?
ARE YOU READY?  Like zombies to brains they are coming!

Hi folks,

I recently added support for Slush's pool to my Cacti monitoring template. Here are a few sample graphs:

User Rewards

Worker Hash Rate (OpenCL)

Worker Hash Rate (Total all workers)

Worker Last Share (OpenCL)

Worker Last Share (Total all workers)

Worker Score (OpenCL)

Worker Score (Total all workers)

Worker Shares (OpenCL)

Worker Shares (Total all workers)

If this looks interesting to you, installation instructions and additional details can be found on the following thread: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=23406.0

Have fun!

Hmm, would the connection issues/possible DDoS cause the statistics page to show that I have no reward for the last block, even though I had two workers with 300+ shares each?

Hello guys, I was out for few days on holiday. Now I'm back and will respond to all your posts and PM soon Smiley.

About today issue - I had to restart balancer (so pool was down for ~two minutes now), but should be running fine now.
