and there was no NMC block found because Merged mining wasn't working on all the back ends.
Although, at this point slush is the only one who really knows absolutely, all other comments (including mine) are just conjecture... But Iyeman is basically right. Pool still isn't using all hashpower for MM, unfortunately. I'm waiting to one guy who is fixing one bitcoind performance patch, which isn't compatible with current MM codebase.

We just had an invalid Bitcoin block, but my NameCoin balance during that period was also declared invalid and deducted from my unconfirmed NameCoin total
Are you sure? Can anybody else confirm, please? Of course NMC reward should not be affected when bitcoin block goes invalid. I just re-read related part of code again, but don't see any possible issue. Shouldn't the confirms/invalids be separate for BTC and NMC ?
Yes, of course.

Excuse me, I don't understand. You lost 30 NMC? It was during payout? (they didn't arrive to your wallet?)

I was checking the site when payout for nmc, did arrive the unconfirmed reward did raise slowly to about 162, but in the end i only got around 134. Somehow it did get lower after awhile. No biggi just wonder what did happen.

lol so you dumped 70k NMC all at once to us miners and the exchange prices didn't budge. Guess alot more people are holding on to it than expected.

Well at the current price of them, it would take 40-50NMC to equal 1BTC. Plus there are people like me who mine at low mh/s like 80, and I've only gotten 10NMC. Plus you got the guys who are farming NMC to do things with it too, along with buying them as well.

It's getting colder out and the GPU fan speeds are cranked down. Should be a profitable and warm winter!
