what was happening on block #8451 ? not that i want to complain, but i got 0.36 BTC with some 800MHps ... i usually get about 0.03 ... (i mean to say, i like the coins and i'll be happy to keep them. but this seems more of a glitch ... )

Slush-
Just curious if you knew about what percentage of miners in your pool signed up for nmc mining as well?
No rush if your putting out fires, I was just wondering...

I did not get any Namecoins rewarded in the last block
Was that because of the problems on some of the bitcoin backends ?

That was a short btc block and there were no nmc blocks found during that time period. So no one should have gotten any nmc rewards for that block.

Account refuses to SAVE threshold value for NMC. I think when saving my NMC address i gave 3.0 as threshold. Now i try to change to any integer or integer with fraction, 30 or 30.0 or 45..... any numbers gives this error message in screen shot & refuses to SAVE. thanks slush. just a little bug on the web ... in the payout history it says i just got paid 120 BTC ... (i wish ) My payout too, so far it said 155 BTC now it says 355 BTC. (155 BTC + 200 NMC actually) Read the little text in red there........

He actually upped the limit to 100 for sending threshold on the nmc side. but it's only temporary until the difficulty rises.

I thought its "greater than or equal to" instead of "less than or equal to" coz of huge amount of NMC can be mined due to low difficulty at least for some short time.

Did you not read the post 2 place above? lol I had to stopped MM on some backends because of continuous performance problems. I'm investigating that issue, MM should be back here soon.

That's not why there was a zero payout for nmc on that btc block. The reason there was a zero payout is that bitcoin block was only 13 minutes. And during that 13 minutes, there were no nmc blocks found. So there is no payout for nmc during that btc block for anyone.

Slush, did you get the msg about the much needed update to namecoind? http://dot-bit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2182#p2182 That goes for anyone else that may be solo mining or mining thru namecoind at some of the smaller pools as well.....

Not so sure if that has anything to do with it. He was working on mm for like 2 hours. And he didn't actually say that he took some of the back ends down until after that block. If it was mm issue there would have been other blocks affected. Not to mention the fact that we just had another block turn up the same way (with no nmc reward for the btc block). Although, at this point slush is the only one who really knows absolutely, all other comments (including mine) are just conjecture...

There was no NMC block found in the time the BTC block was solved
Some of these NMC blocks are taking 40 mins+ to solve
I believe that is why some BTC blocks turn up without NMC's attached

We just had an invalid Bitcoin block, but my NameCoin balance during that period was also declared invalid and deducted from my unconfirmed NameCoin total
Shouldn't the confirms/invalids be separate for BTC and NMC ?

Aye, that sucked and was the first full block after I had pointed my miners back to this pool. :/
