I hope i'm not too nosy, but what algo do you use to calculate nmc shares? My guess is that score based shares are not worth with NMC - anybody care for 3 minute poolhops? :-O So getting share count per user and share count per block, even with 192000 shares per block should take no more than few seconds ...
Excuse me please, if i got something wrong, I'm a bit drunk atm. :-O

PPS for namecoin by the look of it. Maybe that was only to clear the backlog of unprocessed blocks. Good work Slush! The stats page is looking funky!

same here I would imagine the backend still has perfect record of what everyone is due. The frontend reporting side of it is probably gonna look quite nasty until he can get all 1600+ NMC blocks split and pushed to the proper accounts. And then get it all lined up with the reporting for the BTC side as well.

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system. - GA It is being worked on by smart people. -DamienBlack

Yeah, I just noticed mine was too. First time i saw it happen I looked for an invalid block to pop up but none did.
That is a little unsettling...
Im sure it will get straightened out.

Hmm, just figured out what was wrong and finally generated a nmc wallet address.
Will I get the nmc from the already generated blocks, or only those ones from now on?

Only those from now, unfortunately. You missed gold rush for few hours .

While rewards for old blocks are processing, I added firstbits support for Bitcoin wallet on profile. Now you can enter only first bits of your address and pool it automatically translates to full address. You can read more about neat firstbits idea on http://www.firstbits.comI don't really understand the purpose of firstbits. The website isn't that helpful. To my understanding it is taking my long address and converting it to something shorter. This in turn will make it quicker to get confirmations for my address. Is that right? or am I completely off?

Just curious, if I entered nmc address the day you first made announcement that we should enter nmc address, would I get payments for all mining time spend since the beginning of mergemining ? Or did you only payout nmc generated from the date nmc wallet entry was announced?

If you claimed your NMC address before 17.10.2011 @ (around) 6pm UTC, you'll receive all coins you deserve (since MM started), which you obviously did. All people who filled nmc address later are earning namecoins since today. Hmm, just figured out what was wrong and finally generated a nmc wallet address.

No. Firstbits makes it easier for you to memorize an address by translating it to something very short instead of something long. Nothing more.

I've had NMC showing confirmed for over 5 hours now. These were all ones mined 3-4 days ago and are well over the send threshold.
Are the payouts still being worked on?

Wish I knew my average per block XD, Figured I'd get more than 10 namecoins out of the 100k but I guess everyone else who is mining a lot already put in addresses.
