I'm a Ship Captain, so I hope you also can find this funny...........
ACTUAL transcript of a US naval ship with Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October, 1995. This radio conversation was released by the Chief of Naval Operations on 10-10-95.
Americans: "Please divert your course 15 degrees to the North to avoid a collision."
Canadians: "Recommend you divert YOUR course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision."
Americans: "This is the captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course."
Canadians: "No, I say again, you divert YOUR course."
Americans: "THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN, THE SECOND LARGEST SHIP IN THE UNITED STATES' ATLANTIC FLEET. WE ARE ACCOMPANIED BY THREE DESTROYERS, THREE CRUISERS AND NUMEROUS SUPPORT VESSELS. I DEMAND THAT YOU CHANGE YOUR COURSE 15 DEGREES NORTH. THAT'S ONE-FIVE DEGREES NORTH, OR COUNTER MEASURES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THIS SHIP."
Canadians: "This is a lighthouse. Your call."

Late one night a burglar broke into a house and while he was sneaking around he heard a voice say, "Jesus is watching you." He looked around and saw nothing. He kept on creeping and again heard, "Jesus is watching you." In a dark corner, he saw a cage with a parrot inside. The burglar asked the parrot, "Was it you who said Jesus is watching me" The parrot replied, "Yes." Relieved, the burglar asked, "What is your name?" The parrot said, "Clarence." The burglar said, "That's a stupid name for a parrot. What idiot named you Clarence?" The parrot answered, "The same idiot that named the rottweiler Jesus."

Well, we are now at zero luck. I think that says it all. On a rural road a state trooper pulled this farmer over and said: "Sir, do you realize your wife fell out of the car several miles back?" To which the farmer replied: "Thank God, I thought I had gone deaf!" And the pool hoppers are running for the hills. Down to 7.3 PH. And i too have never seen the luck at Zero. Kind of a hollow feeling. JT I guess this will sort out the hoppers from the stoppers. More power to them my miners have been parked here since march and im not moving them. Just more payout for me that's all. JT

I can't remember the number used anymore, but I believe it was somewhere around 25% CDF for slush so most of the pool hoppers are long gone before people even really start noticing a block is long.

Could be worse. Could hash for 2 days to find a block that turns out to be invalid. Could be negative luck, if there was such a thing.

It's more than a luck.
a 4 second round a couple of days ago which is invalid.
then one more invalid round right before that 28+ hours of thing...
It looks to more than a luck.
Somebody may be playing a game...
I'm becoming paranoid...

I got to thinking about this website change and other changes they are doing at Slush. I was NOT willing to risk my electricity consumption on a "what if." I decided to go to another pool yesterday at noon till they get things worked out. I'm seriously wondering if it's something they are doing on the backend or SOMETHING that is affecting this. It could be just bad luck. Not sure.
Since I'm "not sure" I'm staying away till changes are implemented with no more interruptions. It ended up being a good decision to move yesterday. Just lucky I presume. Who knows?
I will come back to 80% Slush and 20% others after Slush gets things ironed out. I still believe it's something they are doing on the backend. Could be bad luck. According to the odds of a block at our hashing power and present difficulty, we should find a block every 5 hours and 43 minutes [Approximately]. So, either something went wrong on the backend or we are having TERRIBLE bad luck.
