I never imagined I'd see 52 CPM, even on testnet. I've never seen above 16.
Higher sievesize works better on testnet, lower sievesize works better (higher PPS/CPM) on mainnet.

I just wish I could get my chainspermin up. tried sievepercentage 6 and 12, and tried roundsievepercentage 40... they did not do better than the above.
did you try 100K/10/30? Here are the settings that yielded the highest CPM w/good to great PPS. It looks like you were mining on a wrong chain before you changed client. I had my first found blocks from 3 days, when change with new client and all go to orphan. I understand if any immature stay unconfirmed forever, but all to go to orphan?! Explain! if it's not SCAM? [7/13/2013 03:18:19]

What's better to optimize for: primes/sec, chains/min, or 5-chains/hr?
chains/min = 5-chains/h / 60 Both are counting the same thing. I'm personally looking at the 5-chains/h estimates when running on mainnet. On testnet I'm usually looking at either primes/sec or 5-chains/h. Sometimes I measure the actual block rate to verify things. |

I see some are using "sievesize" : 100000, maybe you do get high pps but did you ever find/resolve a block with this setting ?
I heard that was not a good idea to go under 1M...
