Hi Dargo

1. Yes i have a ticket with kraken #43901
2. I have an verified account as well
3. I went through the kraken claiming process, but it redirects me first to claims.mtgox.com where i have to reset my mtgox password. and there the automail with the 8 digit password is not send, or never arrives

If there is another way to claim on kraken, please let me know.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

May I add that during the password set process on claims.mtgox.com site if the user has not matched the MINIMUM security requirements he/she cannot continue. I've tried many times since the password I've chosen met the aforementioned security standards. I propose this will be on a red box into the Kraken site (before the redirection) or the users might never have the chance to see what's wrong with the process. Undecided

The email issue with the MtGox claims site should be resolved now, so please try again.

Thanks for the suggestion - we are working to get an explanation of the password requirements on the MtGox claims site and will consider adding the information on our site as well.

Hello Dargo. I'd endorse you and any colleague of yours at Kraken to reconsider about XMR. Being closely monitoring this altcoin it truly presents unique features, a great community and a devoted devteam. The only drawback is that it's not easily adopted due to the missing embedded UI (you will have to use an external one).

Nevertheless, XMR has potential, a growing and stronger, than other altcoins, base and truly deserves a bold name like Kraken behind it.

Out of interest... what if someone isnt claiming? Ken Slaughter, the one behind ActiveMining, claimed he had lost 453BTC on MtGox. He were not present at his court appointments so one can assume he wont claim those coins.

Will these coins be lost or can the shareholders claim them somehow? I know that legally they are owned by his company of course.

For the shareholders, who were practically scammed by him, it would be interesting to know how many coins he had on mtgox and what will happen if he stays inactive.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

The shareholders might be able to submit a claim somehow, but they would need to contact the trustee and find out if it can be done, and if so, how. There's a contact phone number listed in the FAQ document posted on mtgox.com. If the funds aren't claimed, they would probably end up being distributed to claimants along with the remaining funds in the MtGox estate.

Is there an easy way to see what is available per currency in my account for trading? I thought this info was available at one point, but I can't find now?
[...]

You have to go to Funding/withdraw and click on each currency to see how much is still available for trading/withdraw.

That works, thanks, but it is very cumbersome. Can we get that in a simple, single overview? For example the Trade tab, Overview, would be ideal.

Yes, it is cumbersome. We have a few major projects to take care of first, but this is on the to-do list.
Any news on this? It is the most important piece of information IMO. Even worse, the Funding/withdraw page shows an incorrect amount. I've just made this test: the withdraw page said "Maximum withdrawal: €188.08". Then I placed an order "buy 1.0 XBTEUR @ limit 206.10000". The order has been created successfully. This shouldn't be possible.

USD: 0.000 BTC       EUR: 0.000 BTC

I don't have an update at this time. But I reminded our developers about the importance of adding this feature. The system will allow you to create an order to sell a bit more currency than you have available (in your case selling EUR for XBT). But of course the order won't get completely filled if you don't have enough money to fill it.

Go ahead and upload a proof of residence document and create a support request at support.kraken.com (choose "Verification Tier 1-3" for the category). Our verification team will assist you.

Thank you very much for your answer.

I'll do that. By the way tiers 1-3 are already verified, it's the 4th i am trying to accomplish.

Hi, I just signed up for an account, and I have a suggestion Smiley

All, or nearly all of my bills are paperless now.  This means I can download them in pdf.  You dont take pdf, so I converted the first page to .png and tried to upload.  The file size was too small?  So I scanned it in jpg with a portable scanned and was finally able to upload.  It took a while to figure out how to convert the document, which wasn't even accepted.

Its not a huge deal, but it would be nice if you guys would take pdf's.

Anyway looks like a great service, will be trying it out soon.

Welcome to Kraken! Thanks for the suggestion - we do plan to accept PDFs, but it takes special precautions to accept PDFs securely, so it's more of a development project than you might think.
