Guys, please stay away from kraken at least right now! Everybody knows that they are experiencing a high demands but there is no way to do business with them, you send then a ticket and they take forever to answer, when they answer.
I have a big SWIFT deposit sent to a Japanese bank account, Payward, and I can't get any support about it, they simple ignore you. Stay away until they solve this support problems, don't do FIAT there.

Getting really frustrated. Had an account with Carvirtex. Been trying to figure out what my options are with Kraken. Sent a ticket 2 weeks ago. No response. I've tried recovering my password, username, even tried to sign up again. NOTHING!
All I want to do is be able to gain access to what I once had with Carvirtex.

This is unbelievable. So many people having issues but you still send them money? What if you have issues in the future with your funds? Will you be fine with this customer service? I've been waiting to be verified for 9 days. Dont even bother verifying me, im sending my bitcoin elsewhere.

Update: I've alerted support to all ticket numbers posted or sent by DM since my last post, except for verification tickets and tickets that are already at the highest priority.
I'm very sorry, but due the volume of requests about verification tickets we are no longer able escalate these tickets (escalation was not helping much anyway for these tickets). The verification team is working very hard to process accounts as soon as possible in the order they are received. Unfortunately, due to a long queue of accounts waiting to get verified, it may take two weeks or longer. We are doing everything we can to speed this up, including hiring more staff, but the long wait time for account verification is likely to continue for some time.
Darga, Might I ask you for an update on the bug that affected a couple of users last week with the orders executed out of the order book? It's been more than a week and all I got is a "we are investigating it", while some accounts are in negative because of this. Replied to your last DM.

It would be very helpful if Kraken updated its stated waiting time on their site then. 2 weeks is extremely steep in my opinion, especially when the stated time says minutes to 48h. I'm glad for their success, but communication upfront about something that gets in my way of filing orders I base on something as volatile as current coin performance would be greatly appreciated. I've missed my last Ripple price alerts and couldn't buy then, was a shame but such is life. To leave users hoping for a 48h time window, or even bare minutes strikes me as careless website maintenance. I agree - this should be updated to set more realistic expectations for how long verification might take.

I guess if I don't leave a comment here, no one would ever start dealing with my verification. My ticket is 313779. I'm still so confused why a tier 1 or tier 2 verification would take so long. It's just a few second work on other exchanges but took forever on Kraken.

^^ Because they are hell bent on making money and stupid enough to not recruit customer care staff foreseeing rise of crypto transactions.
And its pretty much law less world and yes we love it in crypto world.

I don't understand why the Kraken Tier 1 & 2 verification takes so long. You can fill in anything you want, there is no way to check for Kraken if the personalia are correct, so why no fast-approvement for Tier 1 & 2. For Tier 3 i understand it takes a while because u have to review the uploaded documents.

A way to slow down new accounts, maybe. If so, this would be Kraken's dumb solution to the fact, they cannot scale.

This is kinda serious, you send them like a big SWIFT transfer and they just don't answer, if they cannot provide support so shut down the FIAT transfer option. Unbelievable.
