Is there any information about the airdrops on EOS chain? Should we move the ERC20 out of Kraken so that we're eligible for the new tokens or the exchange will do it for us?

Hi macsga. If we don't make an announcement about a certain fork or airdrop, it's safe to assume that you should hold your coins in an address that you own the private keys to in order to take full advantage of that fork or airdrop. I personally don't want to move the coins from your Exchange due to the complexity of the task, (MEW, plugins, etc) so I thought it was a safe to assume that a similar policy (as with Lumens) would take place. You will probably get this type of answer from Septimus: "Please escalate by opening a ticket and escalating that ticket using this form. Thanks for bringing this to our attention." (or something similar) By doing this Kraken is trying to keep you from posting additional post about your problem in public channels (at least for a while). First, they try to get the communication on email level, and if they cannot (or maybe even do not want to) solve it, then they start ignoring your emails regarding your request. This way of email communication is what happened to us last year when bringing the "market manipulation by supply of erroneous data issue" to Kraken's attention. That time we did not use public channels. Now we have brought this topic up again as it happened to a buddy of ours. Still no real answer to the problem.....so actually we are waiting for almost a year now for an answer and a solution to the problem. And worst of all, this problem survived the trade engine update... LOL LOL! Perfect reply! Love it!  I'm glad I have removed all my funds from this exchange. |

Okay... then prove it? How did they steal you? Did you login one day and there was not funds in your account? Before you withdraw funds from KRAKEN you have to approve the address from your email and there was no news of a successful hack against KRAKEN, so whatever problem occurred must be from your side. Personally I'm very happy with KRAKEN after they upgraded their servers. They even replied to my ticket within 1 hour last Saturday evening, I was expecting at least a week of delay but they seem to have improved a lot within the last 2 months. Oh and they solved my issue which was complicated and a macro-answer wouldn't help. |

I have my share of ill feelings about Kraken and their competency. Mostly connected to their (in)ability to maintain a reliable and responsive trading platform. But I have always felt my funds are relatively safe on their platform. Never had an issue in that regard. They actually gave me some automatic airdrops. If you have evidence, present it or STFU! Thank you!  P.S.: No, Kraken-Sepetimus I will not open a stupid ticket because your response time is 2.000 ms!!! It will solve nothing  |

My internet history and login details show that I only ever logged to my account through krakens own original website. I'm aware that there were/are scam websites posing as kraken.
Even with this, some-how personal details of mine were leaked. The details, history and information I have mean that kraken or some one working inside kraken could only have leaked this info.

We have been having a lot of issues with fake Twitter accounts attempting to scam our clients by asking them to send ETH to an address and they'll be rewarded with double, 10 times or whatever it may be. If you see a Kraken handle that is offering a promotion like this do not send them any ETH and report them. It's not us. Edit: You may have noticed that our @krakensupport handle was disabled. It is now active again but we no longer have any followers. Please make sure to follow @krakensupport again. Our @Krakenfx handle is also still active as well as our Bitcointalk and Reddit accounts. Ahhhhh, the problem is still not solved then. As expected as Kraken was not giving any answer about this. @anatol1987 : If you look back a few pages, you will see that we have been asking Kraken to explain this issue, and also explain how customers are to distinguish between "fake" pikes and "real" pikes. In the end you will probably get a few Kraken fee credits if you keep nagging l;long enough, but then you will be answered with a bunch of silence from Kraken. so, again... to ALL Kraken customers. Be advised Kraken is still manipulating its markets. Either by showing fake trades/OHCL data, or by neglecting to solve this problem which has been going on since at least spring 2017 (thus last year) @ Kraken-Septimus(-crime) We are still waiting for answers to the questions posed in this thread. Please scroll back a few pages and you will find them. Furthermore, we are still waiting for your apology for lying to us and everybody else about this issue a few pages back. Anatol's post clearly shows again that you have not gotten to the bottom of this issue even though you posted that it was solved. |

If you use our bank partner in Japan to fund your Kraken account with anything but CAD, your funding instructions will be changing soon.

Today out of nowhere I started getting an error in my API (The API returned an error: EGeneral: Temporary lockout)
I know this is supposed to be caused by too many API calls and unlock after 15 minutes. First I am not doing too many calls, and 2nd it isn't ever unlocking. Are there any reports of other people having issues? What could be causing this and or what can fix it?
