NO miner is ever sent out without boards screwed in, period. This is ridiculous. Obviously it has happened. Or the screws *were * there and are now rolling around in the packaging or delivery truck. Don't suppose the screws have star-washers so they can't shake loose do they?

The rig AMT shipped to me. Notice how the left and right side are all bent out of shape. Notice the power connecter on the right side is completely gone. Notice that the some of the boards looked warped out of shape. Notice the right most heat sink in bent out of shape. Notice the white plastic on the right.. that's the stripped out power connector. Notice on the second to the left board, there's this black piece.... that a piece of the disintegrated fan. Notice the paper on the right, that's what AMT considers as padding. Well it didn't help avoid having the rightmost heat sink get bent out of shape! UNBELIEVABLE! Tip to AMT, use bubble wrap first around the entire unit, then pack in foam peanuts or styrofoam on all eight corners. Paper is not padding!! AMT, What is your official response on why items are being sent out from you with such poor packing. I believe everyone wants to know what happened and what you will do to resolve this problem originating from your center. The way that it currently is being packed looks like its intentional so that you can blame FedEx for your hardware issues. The community is stepping up by helping to troubleshoot and get everyone miners up. So you need to declare that customers will receive their hardware at least in one piece. Awaiting your official response.

As isawhim said 25 amps per module not Overclocked with 15% reserve. It is not a good idea to drive your psu at 80% of its rating for longer period For 5 modules you need 110-120 amps at 12 v as minimum. Depending on particular psu and it is rating at 12v rails it would be 1300 - 1500 W That is for 5 modules AMT can be so kind to give some light about ACTUAL. POWER consumption? PS: I suggest to wait for official amt response about it because nobody has measured it yet except them But as rule of thumb the powerful is always better except that you are the one to pay the bill unfortunately

Found these under the flap at the bottom of the box. Hopefully the blades banging each other during shipping didn't damage them too much.

I need make and models.

I need make and models. So the easiest way is to plug just one module and measure it then because amt are unable to do that for some reason

I require a new miner im not happy with this equipment that has been sent out to me. none of the boards actually do anything that comes close to mining. i want either a full refund so i can buy a several 200ghs ant miners or a fully working amt miner that actually hashes. not happy folks
mellorbos/regtables miner works fine with my rm1000 psu attached so there is no reason why my boards dont run other than they are faulty. ive tried their backplane and ribbon cable.ive tried my boards individually. ive tried everything. losing patience now rapidly

From the look of the picture the capacitors are busted too. Some of the cards could be broken. Makes no sense why they would intentionally do that. But yea some declaration of this and how they aim to rectify this mess might be a good start. This is really really bad for everyone. On top of the delays and all the other crap we have had to deal with the risk of getting broken parts in the mail. As I am going to pick mine up I will speak to the build quality of the hardware once I got it. I am hoping to do a nice clean review of the hardware without the company drama. At least based on the merit of the hardware itself. That also presumes the build quality will be solid and such when I pick it up. But yea an official reply would be good to address this. What is the plan of action to address this. This isn't like a 5 dollar thing we are getting. This is thousands of dollars turned to junk. Seems like its packed like a 5 dollar item vs something of actual value.

They need to be using something like these machine screws w/star-washers that are part of them http://www.mcmaster.com/#95345a047/=riqrv4 also available with sheet metal threads.

Hold on a second Loshia before you scare everyone with your provocative statements. Yes we've said that " Now We are in distress, and may need some help from the community". But you're contribution has been anything but that, and our miners work fine and you should be the first one to know that and admit that of course. WhoAAAAAAAAA there, Mr. On the Level, it's up to you to show, thus prove to the community that your 1.2 TH/s bitcoin miners are working, preferably via video you promised two months ago. Remember that promise? To date, nary a properly working 1.2 TH/s AMT bitcoin miner has been seen hashing in the wild via video. On a lighter note, hope sales are brisk from your brissed friends, stemming from your booth at the Bitcoin Expo in Toronto. For those having trouble finding it, simply follow the Red Bull empty cans trail.

Remember, AMT sent out hundreds (their words) of 1.2 TH/s bitcoin miners, albeit all those who waiting for one penning on this thread didn't receive one till recently. And, it was stated that they were send sub-par units per their instructions, with AMT wanting to make sure that those who ordered complete units received them working properly. Care to guess what happened? All those who got their units earlier are supposedly hashing away with nary an issue, while those who waited for complete properly working units, eventually requesting kits, continue to get smoke blown up their ass by The Mighty Zip. That doesn't sound like being On The Level to me.

OK, so I've secured the blades in the chassis with the screws I found in the bottom of the box. The new problem is now the pins do not line up.
