You guys are making mountains out of hills again. We offered the kit option for 2 reasons alone.

1. We noticed 3 out of 4 clients are removing their miners from the case anyway, either to look at it and or to give it better airflow or what ever. We know that because they are asking questions about reversing the fans, switching the modules, etc etc.

2. Its a faster build and shipment process. It gets people miners faster and gets our shipments over with, and maybe these 18 hour days can turn into 12 hour days.

That's all. Please stop making mountains out of hills.

We would like to get a few more opinions we'd like to get from you guys about what to throw in the kit.
some amt stickers lol.to be fair i cant think what else the kit would need

First:  fan connectors.

Well the preference of the fan connectors for the 8 fan cages.

option 1.

Or any better idea.

These guys are telling you how to put together "parts" with no credit given? I don't even believe they are capable of shipping parts. Nothing they have said has ever been true. NOTHING.

Heck, why don't we pay you a ton of money, and then build the miners for you...........  OH wait, that IS your suggestion. If you ever get your "build a miner" kit, I would like to know about it.  It is a lie.

Yeah, that video shows how HONEST AMT is, putting out a ransom for someone, lying about paying it, and then giving one of your crappy miners away.  NICE!!

dont forget how Josh "sabotaged" the miner voltage so IT would intentionally over heat. That comment was priceless. Josh says in the video bruno purchased the miner but then later on this forum says he intentionally set the voltage so as to destroy the miner.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY JOSH WOULD LIE AND DO THIS TO A MINER HE SUPPOSEDLY SOLD?

HEY REGTABLE96 THIS IS WHAT JOSH IS GOING TO DO WITH YOUR MINER AFTER YOU SEE THE LIGHT AND REALIZE HE IS A FRAUD. ROFL!!

THIS IS AMT FOLKS. THIS IS HOW THEY OPERATE. THEY ARE SHADY PEOPLE MAN. THEY WILL SCREW YOU IN A HEARTBEAT IF THEY THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

I WANT YOU TO DEFEND THIS BEHAVIOR JOSHUA ZIPKIN!

But to be clear. They have openly said miners are causing fires/overheating.  I want a refund more now than ever as I fear for my property and family. It is not only my finances strained but safety.

Wait what? Quote that? what post?

We never said they miners are causing fires or overheating. The miner runs fine and perfectly, sometimes the chips can get a bit hot when running in turbo mode, but thats expected of any miner.

I was being mildly sarcastic to people who were misrepresenting things. If it works it works.

I don't want to hate on AMT but I had to put things in motion in order to retrieve my cash. That was all I wanted, I have enough drama without making more.

I tried being nice, then I switched to voicing my concerns about AMT, I will go back to nice mode again for a short while until they can send a check.

1. they lied about my initial delivery date
2. the lied about updating this thread every week
3. they lied about keeping an order queue
4. they lied about mailing me a refund
5. they lied about wiring me a refund
6. they have lied about saying they would hire people from this forum (twice)
7. they lied about something as dumb as being associated with Freemasons
8. they  lied about my second delivery date
9. they lied about being able to pay with credit cards on their website
10. THEY LIED ABOUT PAYING BRUNO 20btc
11. zipkin lied about saying he was going to ship my miner as "punishment" for calling him out on this website and amazon.com
12. they lied about the wattage
13. josh said he was starting his "own forum"... just another lie.
14. they lied about saying they would hire someone to answer/help with phone calls and emails.
15. i think i can safely say AMT has lied about their MPP. They have shown no willingness to make up for late delivery and subsequent difficulty increases.
16. josh lied about "selling" a miner to bruno. he then turns around and admits to sabotaging the miner by increasing the voltage to 0.96.
17. they lied about supplying me a new tracking number today 4/1/14.
18.

What's the next AMT lie?

Looks like the mods took down one of my recent posts. This is the first time I've ever had to repost a post that was deleted, for it is very relevant to this thread.

Let's play "Let's compare posts!"

Yes there has been an issue with the boards BUT WE'VE fixed the problem and everything will go as planned. . Yes FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS we've been shipping to clients which have agreed there are potential issues and want to receive their miners anyway. Total we've shipped 146 miners. Those orders are scattered between the 500's and 1100's. So when we said we're shipping, we are. We just didn't want to ship something we're not sure in to everyone.

We've shipped up to the 1200's - a few hundred thus far, earlier batches when clients agreed to take the risk and receive their miner despite heat/pcb problems.

For those not good with math, 146 < "A few hundred."

Unless, of course, AMT pulled a rabbit outta their ass and shipped out a couple hundred in only 4 days.

Hey guys,

Just so you know, I received my miners 3 days ago, and have been trying to hash ever since. I think it may be a backplane PCB board issue, or a power issue. I doubt its the raspberry pi board or the Serial cable board underneath.

They do hash, and they are legit.

I may have a power issue, not allowing me to run more than 2 boards/3boards at a time. Also, I don't trust the backplane design into ARM but that's personal preference... But they are real miners...Heres my ghetto RIG setup.

Good for you man. I hope you get everything up and running smoothly. I'm opting for two power supplies to draw off two different circuits so I don't trip a breaker. luckily I have a floor plan that makes it really easy to go that route, then I'll get a 1500 watt later when I get a few ant miner S1 and use the current power supplies I have for those.

Ant S1 FYI: According to the UPS feeding 2 of them, 1 @ 180GHs the other @ 190 together they pull 739w from the wall. 'Course I run them off of separate 600w PSU's. Keeps the fans on them barely ticking along for nice long life.

For my part I opted for the DIY kit. But to get any repeat business from me (or from anyone else really) it is going to take A huge incentive for me to want to come back. Repeat business is the staple of any consumer oriented business. With my order with BFL, they tossed a coupon that gave me 50 percent off the same miner I paid for....their forums exploded in LULZ over those offers so much they pulled back and are coming up with something better (since competitors are out competing in compensation). It was insulting to say the least considering BFLs even more massive delays. With AMT I paid for 1.2Ths miner so that is what at bare minimum I expect. I am getting a DIY kit which basically is the system without a case and PSU. Personally I can live with that so long as they find a way to make it up to me and others going this route.

I bought into the whole MPP. Other manufacturer/resellers out there have had similar pains in delivery, performance. Companies like cointerra and KnC are compensating customers where they previously had no "MPP". Right now this is a competitive advantage to those other guys to retain customers. AMT "should" take advantage of it if they want any hope of repeat business. Most other companies don't even officially have one and they have been using that model to keep people. That is AMT should at least try to honor considering the mess. But for them to have continued business it will take alot of work and sacrifice to make people consider them again. On a more positive note AMT has been starting to turn the corner on things and getting the miners out. Until the first groups of people receive and review them we wont know anything concrete.

I'm taking a DIY because if the parts themselves work I can put it together and make it work. The expectation is that it will. Otherwise the mess they are in now will get worse if it goes beyond a few people with issues with the DIY kit. But For all intents and purposes I imagine they are trying to make this right. Figure a month from now (or page 1500) we will know if this is the case or not.

I tried to convince them of that and to work with Bitmine about honoring MPP, it was there lousy reference board and chaining problems that have further complicated matters and delayed shipments and caused these delays, but we'll see how that goes, they are saying MPP won't kick in for 6 months, I'm in 4.5 months and no miner.

To edit my previous post, I found an OPEN in my backplane board that connects the 5 cards.

I may try something different anyway. I want to try a USB solution, rather than using this archaic technology, with a garden of wires.

I am thinking a 20 pin male connector to USB, plugged into a USB hub coming off of the raspberry pi.

Maybe something similar? Anyone think about that?
