These won't work. They are easily defeated by splitting your wealth over several accounts.

why not build the voting system after the decentralized asset issuing ,and make something like "voting asset", but this thing need to get distributed very smart/equal ... just a thought my 2 nxtoshi's...

 My theme would be slide after slide: Bitcoin problem, NXT solution: currency distribution, blockchain bloat, PoW arms race, 51% attack, block confirmation speed (10 min vs 1 minute), transactions per second (1 currently / 7 max for BTC, 10,000 ultimate goal for NXT), etc. etc. etc.

All you need to emphasize are instant transactions, earning coins from forging, anonymous messaging, and soon an anonymous marketplace - why on earth would anyone want to stick with Bitcoin?!  

Don't go totally negative...people are gonna be shifting in their seats by around the 3rd negative anti-Bitcoin point.
Emphasise NXT's strengths, not Bitcoins weaknesses.
Make sure that the concept of NXT as an ecosystem, not purely a currency, comes thru strong.

Usually, with humans, there is such a rule that if you want to say one negative point, you should tell two positive points *before* the negative one. (Sometimes there is no time to tell the positive things after the negative... )

Hey, guys and gals, I would be interested in representing NXT at the Texas Bitcoin Conference on March 5-6.  I am in the American South not very far away (relatively speaking) and just checked, I can get a round trip jet ticket to Austin for under $300 if I book soon.  The conference fee is $275 until the end of January, $325 starting in February.  If the devs/community could back me for $1000 (currently around 10K NXT), I volunteer to cover this.  I will kick in 20% of my annual vacation time from my day job.  I am an aerospace engineer in real life, one thing I know how to do is make concise, organized presentations of  complex topics...

Here are the guys in the British branch going great PR do to entice people . Well, people will come, look . Look at all the revolutions and riots fucking dickhead sweep 5 % of the state and country, and you're talking about a gnat compared to them as virtual crypt .
A month later, NXT will be death and moral reputation , and then fuck it correct.

All excuses and moralizing about the environment and other complication is for geeks , but gikah rate will not increase , there are few . And for ordinary people need - easily and safely . Well, they do not like to think and ochkovat .

If I was out of Bitcoin community , I'd ordered hundreds of articles about this weakness NXT and bury his reputation. If the matter remains as it is, it will sdelatv any time. Totally agree. We need design a system for average joes, not only for geeks. Do you know what is the most popular password in this world? It is something like 1234password. We have to enforce the safest pass phrase format in the client when users set up their accounts. Period!

there is no need to focus on externalities because that cost isnt externalized. its born fully by the user of the pow network in the form of inflation and higher transaction fees. that is to say that bitcoin isnt causing people to consume more or less in general, it is causing them to simply alter their consumption habits into more energy focused consumption. Consuming energy instead of other raw materials (trees or animal skin or gem stones ect..) isnt better or worse for the environment its just a different cost. finding and burning coal inorder to run an asic isnt better or worse for the environment than cutting down trees to build houses, its just bad in a different way.

Update 10 - Bitcoin Conference Miami

eB101 arrived early this morning, we're walking around... shaking hands and make final Nxt pitches at the conference. Had an opportunity to talk with the guys over a Bitshares, we talked about everything ranging from PoS to encouraging communities to continue to be extremely civil and educating people that either misunderstand (intentionally or not so intentionally) PoS and next gen systems.  It was a great contact, we are eager to build relationships with other innovators in the space.

Btw, we just got out of the Entherium speech, interesting ideas. 2014 will certainly be the year of smart contracts/property.
