I like the philosophy behind protoshares, keyhotee, new mining algo's.. please dont get me wrong on this. there are just some fundamental flaws in the basics of this coin. It gives the developers a to much head start :-)

Can you please explain how this gives developers too much of a head start? I'm all ears. I'll assume you're talking about the premine for PTS and MMC 1.0... if so, you're simply not reading or you don't understand.

This coin was specifically designed to prevent anyone from getting a head start.. hence the issues. It might have been over tuned.

1. The way how PTS is implemented in the core feels wrong, this should have been done with a Proof of Stake to give people that where not involved with PTS not the feeling of a Premine.
2. MMC 1 was a Beta test and should stay a Beta test and not implement it in the actual genesis block.
3. 6% procent for the officers? Really? Dont they have enough PTS already?
4. Again, PTS should be implemented as a POS that gradually willbe released with the (lets say) first 5.000.000 coins (example, 0,2% released per block)
5. Block time is to high, better make it less with smaller reward.
6. 1 good point was the first 200 blocks but this can be better.. A slow steady grow (1-1-2-2-4-4 etc) untill the first 500 blocks.

Other point; i had trust in keyhotee but how this is managed i dont trust invictus to "handover" my identity in the future if keyhotee goes live one time...

good points about this release is that it uses a even more asic gpu proof algo but this makes it only interesting for power users.

in short, the idea is good but the implementation is horrible!!

anyway, i know this coin is going to have value. i dont like to support it but for me this is also more then a game Smiley lets clone this fucker

    "currentblocksize" : 1191,

    "errors" : "",
    "genproclimit" : -1,
    "hashespermin" : 5.32423373,
    "pooledtx" : 1,
    "testnet" : false

Had to redownload blockchain 3 times already. I'm mining with all my computers for over 24h now, and I don't have much hope left that I'll ever see a block. I'm turning them off this evening, I remembered why I don't play lottery..  Cry

The main difference between what FaSan suggests and what I did is the addition of "USE_PNP=-"...
I hope this will fix the crashes !

Block times have been absolutely ridiculous lately. There was over 40 minutes between the last two blocks and the diff increased ~10%. This doesn't seem right.

these kind of coins (like dtc) are made to make profit to owners and developers, who know how to write the miner,
and they're only public that miner/pool after diff are on the moon  Angry
cannot say better, that's why i stoped with this money scheme! i mean coin pump! ops i just can't draw it better than you.

Exactly, time to start a good PR campaign against a coin like this Smiley

Its nothing more then a modern version of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme

Who want's help me with writing a proper press releases sending out in the world against this scam coin?
I'm not sure I agree with you yet.

Albeit, writing yourself "payments" into the code for 6 officers, with two people filling two positions (twice the payments) is pretty sketchy.

Giving the right to vote on "job positions" to only a select few who already hold memorycoins from the previous coin is also sketchy. How can we be sure the devs didn't buy up all the old coins with the intention of holding the majority vote on the new coin? Why even hold a vote?

Writing a premine to "benefit previous memorycoin and protoshares holders" without outlining exactly how many coins would go to those people. We know the amount 1:10 memory coins. Does that mean there is 7,800,000 memory coins from 1.0? (nope, max 1 mill). So why the 780,000 MMC2 premine?

Let's say there was 500,000 memorycoins from 1.0
Shouldn't the premine be only 50,000 then?

What happens to all the MMC2 coins that aren't redeemed from MMC1 coins?
These questions need to be addressed going forward.

Should we make a bounty for a working mining pool ?

How much are you guys willing to give ?

I would give 5 MMC.

EDIT :
stas would give 50 MMC
foolsh would give all his MMC if he had any
coininaction would give 20 MMC

TOTAL : 75 MMC

I would give 50.
The elected people should be in charge of this and add to the bounty from their grant !

then, this future pool is without fee, isnt it?

That is not for us to decide.(few hundreds of MMC, that we don's have yet is not that big of reword)
For now we need a pool. (at least one)

genproclimit=7

Better to use 4 or 8.

Not using a power of 2 may impact mining negatively

otherwise it will crash.
