I can run the client under 32-bit (Windows 7), but I cannot run in mining mode since it crashes.

How much memory you got in those machines? what error are you getting?

The error just says to contact the dev team.

Just experienced again the error:

Quote
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information

I have 3GB of RAM in ASUS F6Vseries notebook.

maybe build with UPNP support next time?

Actually managed to compile this one with UPNP, but haven't confirmed if it is working yet.

I don't think it is man. I haven't been able to get a connection yet. Don't take that as a failure on your part though, some coins just don't use UPNP well for some reason. i had the same problem with Nanotokens. When i get home in a little bit, i'm going to fork your repo, and investigate some small changes that should allow it to utilize upnp. i'll report back my findings.

maybe off-topic but relevant. FaSan after looking at your constant help to other users I think you could be a good candidate to apply for the CSO position of memorycoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=369487.0.

Much obliged. uPNP has been a bugbear for me ever since I started with the Bitcoin codebase.

Ok finally clean.

Set the "rpcthreads" = number of CPUs Cores and set the "genproclimit" = the same value.

To me still to work fine from more of one hour.

FaSan

I little update. With this setting, very sometimes can be a collision for filled rpc calls. I still to try now "rpcthreads" = number of CPUs Cores + 4

I will update

Usually forks start with block X, not with the release of the new client. So both old and the new clients can mine until that block.

I didn't confirm this with with FreeTrade, but I think you can sleep well Smiley

Not sure about that, i would guess he will say it will start at block X but at that moment we will need to download a new client.. I think...

Please download new clients or recompile source. New version should show v0.8.53.0-unk-beta

Kind regards to Mister Kimoto.
