One factor that complicates things for me is that I switched from Linux to Windows 7. I was seeing > 1.0 Ghash/sec before the switch but after I am only seeing 700 Mhash/sec (although the instant hash rate indicator of poclbm displays the same rate for both). 1) Set your averaging window to 30 minutes 2) Reset your shares counter, launch your miner and check if the miner's shares counter matches with site's counter. Did these and now it is even less! ~600 Mhash/sec. There has to be something screwy going on. Blocks are probably larger ... not lucky at the moment. Give it time.

So, the rate displayed on the site is derived from other measurements? What is the equation for the derivation?

Your submission rate, not what you see in your client. There will be times when your hash rate on the pool will be greater than your miner rate. Be patient and learn.

So, the rate displayed on the site is derived from other measurements? What is the equation for the derivation? Displayed speed is approximately calculated from number of your submitted shares during last N minutes. Looks like you didn't checked what I recommended to. Ok, then tell, what video cards you are using ?

Ok, then tell, what video cards you are using ? I did steps 1 & 2--change averaging window to 30 minutes and restart the miners; then check rates. If that's the 'check' you're referring to, I did it. [Otherwise, I wouldn't know what the rates are, now would I?] 3x ATI 5870

[Otherwise, I wouldn't know what the rates are, now would I?] I was talking about accepted shares counters, not the hashrate meter. 3 overclocked 5870 should give up to 1200 MH/s total. What miner do you use ? Have you tried latest poclbm or poclbm-gui miner ? Do your miners show any errors in the console ?

[Although, I have no reason to suspect any discrepancy in share counts anyway; my concern is the rate discrepancy]. 3 overclocked 5870 should give up to 1200 MH/s total. What miner do you use ? I'm using the latest poclbm miner. Yes, as I stated in the very first message on this topic, I see several "warning: job finished, miner is idle" messages (the ratio is roughly 1:3 between these warnings and submitted shares).

Looks like that's the reason. PM me your IP, please. Can you run ping -t deepbit.net in the console and check if there are any packet loss or lags ? Also try mining on j1.deepbit.net instead deepbit.net and look it the problem is still there.

Hey guys.
I'm getting "None" reward on my deepbit for the last 3 blocks found. I was getting rewards before that. Any ideas?

One other tidbit-- Windows will not see all 3 of my cards unless I have crossfire enabled. Could that be it?

Well, I suppose this is one advantage of using Linux over Windows--it doesn't require dummy plug.

Hash faster. Eh? I had 299,999 shares with "0" reward. Something is fucked up.

Eh? I had 299,999 shares with "0" reward. Something is fucked up. Pretty sure I'm right with "Hash faster.", with 299,999 shares you must control a majority of the pool's hashing power.

what is your average hash rate? if you see "0/299000" meaning you have submitted 0 shares thus no reward for you! try PPS instead

Eh? I had 299,999 shares with "0" reward. Something is fucked up. 1) The column title says "Total shares", not "your shares". So 299 997 - is the number of shares, accepted from all the pool's users during this round. 2) You get reward from blocks only in Proportional mode. In PPS mode your reward doesn't depends on blocks and is not shown there. What is your hashing speed ? Are your worker names blue or red on your account page ?
