The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I have a feeling this was satirical... but a $10M market capitalisation within a month seems perfectly reasonable to me; that would place NEM in the top 10. |

I have a question about the NEM client. My family has only one computer, is it safe to run a node while other family members use the same PC? I would like to be able to foraging 24-7 and am concerned that my brother might inadvertently or purposely transfer out some NEM. Are the NEM wallet functions locked while foraging? If not, can it have a user selectable wallet mode and foraging only mode?

So is the coin generation called ' foraging' then? Is this final? I'm not sure I like it... it's not a word suited to a highly technological platform. 'Foraging' brings images to mind of people rummaging in bushes or shrubs to find berries or something... To me, a word like ' minting' sounds much better. "A node can mint NEM at a rate according to the unique PoI algorithm."
I just think it sounds better. Has a ring to it. Thoughts? |

I think it'll be easy enough to make it where he will need your password to send out funds. |

i actually had an idea last night... can we get a multipool mining now? i mean launch the multipool now and let it build up the btc until the coin actually launches? the mining power it could draw due to the massive interest in nem would be huge! and plus if btc takes a massive run up again you will see the dificulty of most coins go through the roof again... why not build up some funds up.. if nem wants to drop a bit after launch let it.. then after the drop start buying up with the mined funds..? what you think?
