Hi the community,
I think it is true but, but someone can confirm me the EWBF 0.6 miner for Cuda 9.x is compatible with Cuda 10.x ?
I will try a new Cuda installation (currently, I am with a 8.x version) : it is better to install Cuda 9 or directly Cuda 10 for the 0.6 version of EWBF Cuda Equihash miner ?
Thank you.

It's not necessary to install CUDA package. Just install the latest Nvidia drivers for your GPUs. I didn't find any differences between hashrate both on Cuda9 and Cuda10 versions it is the same.

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

Update November 06 2018

ZhashOS Release 3 is now available

-HUGE improvement in setup time and ease with our new SetupWiz. One "new" user reported he was mining in 2 minutes after boot.

-Now includes a enhanced software watchdog that monitors "multiple" GPU parameters for crashes and will reset the miner or restart the desktop depending on what is needed.

-Also now has "SmartFan", a option to run the fans at the "minimum" speed needed to maintain your target GPU temperature. If set correctly, this may extend fan life.

-Added extra support features.

-Turned off unneeded ports in firewall when Remote Desktop is not activated.

-Updated EWBF to 0.6

Hello EWBF - melt from PiMP OS team here. We hope to see some continued development here as we have used this miner since ZEC came out, and we would love for you to support all of the latest equihash variations as well as any potential progpow equihash that comes out. Also if you could check the API bind error that occurs on miner restarts it would greatly help many of us who love your miner.

We would like to see your hard work continue! Thanks again for the great software!

I can't get this to work with SMOS mining ZEN, I tried multiple versions, settings etc

I am using nVidia cards

The string I am using is

miner.exe --algo 144_5 --pers auto --server zen.suprnova.cc --user user.workername --pass x --port 3618

However, I only get rejected shares, no matter what I try.

Anyone managed to get this working?
There is an outdated SMOS topic here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2505528.msg48019368#msg48019368

ZEN is not Equi 144 algo, it's normal Equihash what is ASICed right now. If you want to mine ZEN buy Z9 from Bitmain.

EWBF Cuda Equihash Miner v0.6

Greetings!
It is based on my last Zcash miner and almost completely repeats it.
Now closer to the topic:
*  Parameter "solver" is disabled.
*  Solver for equihash 200,9 has been deleted.
*  Solvers for Equihash 192,7, 144,5, 96,5 and 210,9 has been added
*  Added timestamps in the output to the screen and to the log file.
*  Argument --algo is added, allow you to select Equihash variant allowed values 144_5, 192_7, 96_5, 210_9, zhash, aion. This parameter is mandatory.
*  Argument --pers is added, allow you to set personalization string (8 charachters) for equihash algorithm. This parameter is optional. Equihash by default uses the string "ZcashPoW", many other coins also use this string, but not all, some coins use their own string, and these are all differences, so for some coins, you need to set the --pers option to the required string, for example, Zero coin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3310714  uses the string "ZERO_PoW" and for mining this coin you need to pass arguments --algo 192_7 --pers ZERO_PoW ....
Fee is presented and by default 2%, argument --fee is presented too.

v0.6
* Fixed situation where the api socket did not close during the exit..
* Increased time-outs during stratum authorization and subscription.
* 144_5, 192_7, 96_5 now faster.
* 144_5 now uses less vram, ~1.63GB (This should be useful for 2GB cards).

v0.5
* 96_5 fixed the problem with cropped performance on fast (1080ti, Titan) gpu.
* 144_5 Speed up by 3-15% depends on the hardware.
* 210_9 Speed up by 2%.
* 210_9 Fixed "low difficulty shares" problem, on Aion pools.
* 210_9 can now be used via --algo 210_9, I recommend using --algo aion for Aion mining, this will help you avoid problems with the wrong personalization string.
* Added option --intensity, this option will not increase performance, only slightly reduce the gpu usage, if you set it to 1. Works like --cuda_devices argument,
for example: --intensity 64 64 1 64 64 will apply the intensity 1 to the device with id 2.
Special features (These features are added for specific projects,do not use these parameters on conventional pools):
* Added option --pers auto, Allow the pool to manage the personalization string. (Profit switching). (http://zergpool.com)
* Added option --algo 144_5_EXCC_D For ExchangeCoin.

Known issues (mostly will be fixed)
*  Equihash 96_5 Can be slower in cuda 8 versions.
*  Performance counters may display an incorrect speed during reconnection.

Expected performance:

96_5 uses ~1.6GB vram
 1050ti   ~7.8 KS/s
 1060    ~14 KS/s
 1070    ~20 KS/s
 1080    ~25 KS/s
 1080ti    ~37 KS/s

192_7 uses ~2.5GB vram
 1050ti    ~8 S/s
 1060    ~15 S/s
 1070    ~22 S/s
 1080    ~24 S/s
 1080ti    ~35 S/s

144_5 uses ~1.63GB vram
 1050ti   ~18 S/s
 1060    ~30 S/s
 1070    ~45 S/s
 1080    ~50 S/s
 1080ti    ~75 S/s

210_9(aion) uses 1.2G vram
 1050ti   ~75 S/s
 1060    ~130 S/s
 1070    ~190 S/s
 1080    ~210 S/s
 1080ti  ~320 S/s

Please note, that this is initial release, and it can be baggy or incompatible with many coins or pools.
Miner compiled with cuda 9.1 and cuda 8.0 for x64 linux and windows. Support devices with compute capability 5.0 and higher.

No miner for MacOS with External GPU connected?
I test other miners on macOS EGPU setting: it is stabler and better in hash-rate than on other OS.  Please develop the miner on macOS with EGPU.

The hashrte is very similar between Windows version and Ubuntu one (if you have a clean Windows installation, of course) : just a litlte better with Ubuntu (and less power consumption).
I will be very surprised if a MacOS version will be better than the Ubuntu version... even more with an extrnal GPU.

Quite new to EWBF to mine Zcash (used other miners before). I have a single 1080 in my rig and wanting to switch to EWBF.
I am a bit confused with the algos, and which to use. With 192_7 I get around 26 Sol/s, 144_5 around 55 Sol/s and 210_9 ets me 240 Sol/s.
So to me on paper I should be using 210_9 is the best option for me to use, am I correct in thinking that? As it's massively higher than any of the others. Or does each algo mine a different coin 192_7 would be Zcash maybe? 210_9 would be Aion? Not too sure how to work out which algo is for which coin.

You have not the choice about the algo to use : this is the coin you choose.
For example, you can't mine ZCash with 144_5 (and even if you think you can, you will have no one share and earn nothing).
The best coin to mine with EquiHash is BitcoinZ (and it is with algo 144_5).

Imho, best coin to mine right now is BTG...looking at current prices I doubt bitcoinZ will get anywhere.
