Greetings everyone,

Thought I would introduce myself and say hello.

I'm completely new to crypto and have only been involved for a couple of days so far, but I can see the potential, it's not hard to see where this is going..................

I had obviously heard of Bitcoin before, but I never paid much attention to it, I became more curious about bitcoin after reading some FB articles, and watching some alternative media new channels, it seemed way to complicated for me, as I only had a basic understanding of money and economics etc.

However........TeeGee  introduced it to me and pointed me in the right direction which made it a lot easier, and made a whole lot more sense.

I vote on Mintpal whenever I can, which is at least 6 times per day, sometimes more.

I'm a complete amateur, and I have a lot to learn, but I am probably just as excited as everyone else should be at this stage of the game.

Maybe the other Cryptos are finally finding their true value as they gain liquidity. It's too bad they don't have the same level of foresight that the DNotes team does!

Thanks for your kind words and confidence in the DNotes team. The DNotes team has been growing and working very hard. We are building a city, not just a house in the woods. Our infrastructure is much more complex and time consuming to complete.

Make sure you are on the latest version of the wallet. V1.1.0.0 you can download it from the original post.

If you are on the correct version, make sure you have a solid connection to the network. If you will want to update your DNotes.conf adding the following nodes.
addnode=n6.dnotescoin.com
addnode=n7.dnotescoin.com
addnode=n4.dnotescoin.com
addnode=n5.dnotescoin.com
addnode=128.199.239.199
addnode=95.85.44.200
addnode=162.243.225.90

If the above do not fix the issue, you likely have a stuck blockchain.
In C:\Documents and Settings\WINDOWSUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DNotes (or C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DNotes)
Delete blk*.dat, then open the client and let it redownload.

I have been playing around with cryptocurrencies for about 6 months or so when I decided I wanted to find a coin just starting up and jump in as an early adopter.  I found Dnotes and liked their community centric stake holder approach so I started mining on Day 1 and have bee here ever since.  I cannot wait for this coin to make me a millionaire.  And I have no doubt we will get there.  You guys are doing a pheonominal job with growing this coin and I look forward to reaping the spoils

That is great news. DNotes is definitely heading towards the right direction to be one of the Market Cap top 50s. However, we should not take it for granted. It must be sustainable or it does not count. We are committed to stay on a slow, steady and sustainable journey.

What kind of miner did you purchase? I`m hesitant to invest in another ASIC after a sour experience with Butterfly Labs.

I picked up a War Machine from GAW Miners

Had a bit of a delay on shipping, but they stand behind their service and making up for the lost mining time by reimbursement.

Once I had it in hand and the power supplies, it was just a matter of which pool to point it towards... 

If you do plan on picking up a new "bigger" ASIC, hold off and get a Vaultbreaker or Vaultbreaker Mini...  they are due for delivery in Q4, and run at 250 or 500 MHS respectively.
