Hi,

Not sure if you've heard about us, so let me introduce us. NiceHash.com is a novel crypto currency cloud mining service. It runs as a proxy between hashing power providers/sellers and hashing power buyers (https://nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=faq#faqg0).

NiceHash is using some advanced stratum protocol features, therefor some patches are needed for sph-sgminer (idlebug fix and adding extranonce feature).

Does any of you have write access to the https://github.com/prettyhatemachine/sph-sgminer GIT repo? If yes, I'm looking for someone who would either:

- apply some patches that we've already applied to the original sgminer (https://github.com/nicehash/sgminer/commits/master)
- or allow our developer to gain write access to https://github.com/prettyhatemachine/sph-sgminer and thus allowing us to patch your fork with relevant patches

You'll get paid if you are willing to do the job, send me PM.

All for that. Do it! Was hoping for 1 sgminer to rule them all.

Guys, I kind of lost interest in this project, so don't expect any new development or active maintenance from me. I guess it's not possible to give someone else rights to edit the opening message, so feel free to start another thread with your fork of sph-sgminer. Take care!

Please give an example of config (.conf file) where implemented multi algo switching (from coin to coin between different pools). Something like this. Thanks

Is it possible to set up a specific kernel per pool configuration?  I'd like to to use the pool quota feature and have one pool mining scrypt and another pool mining x11.  I can do this between scrypt and scrypt-n, but they share the same kernel.  I'm wondering if scrypt and x11 simultaneous mining on a single GPU or single sgminer instance is possible.

++10 !!

It would be great if there was a way to set "per pool" parameters - within the "pools" section of the conf file - and allow these to override the "default" parameters when that specific pool became active.

This would have many benefits, but primarily allowing for switching pools between completely different algorithms.

Please anyone have a way to do this?

Just an idea: Running an sph-sgminer + a cgminer simultaneously and sending intensity orders through the API.

Essentially one would be mining both coins, one at a very low intensity (5-10% of the hashrate) and one at a high intensity (90-95% of the hashrate). When one wants to switch focus, a command is sent to the api of both clients (one to lower the intensity, the other to raise it). Thus alternating between x11 and scrypt becomes possible.

the miner stop working if there isn't a bat file for every desktop shortcut

so if you create just the desktop shortcut without the bat file in the sgminer folder, you get "Application has stopped working" error

in the previous version there wasn't this problem...a bit lame if you ask me

Can anyone take a look to see if this is normal for DRK solo mining?

Tried phm/sph-sgminer with same results: card hashes fine but best share and WU always remains at 0!

My .bat:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
C:\sgminer\sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -o http://127.0.0.1:9332 -u wmr -p x -I 15 -g 4 -w 128 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192
