That is so cool.
Thanks for the information.

Will our workers from Scrypt Guild be ported over or do we create new ones?

They won't be ported over, but your BTC Guild worker names will work for SHA256 or Scrypt.

So how will it work for people with both script and sha rigs and then the layout of things like the workers page ?

The current plan is a toggle in the Settings menu to enable Scrypt (display only, it will work without it, similar to NMC).  This will add a button to the top of each settings/statistics page (Workers, Withdrawals, PPLNS Stats, and Pool Stats).  You will be able to pick which one is the default (SHA or Scrypt).  You will toggle between them with a button near the top of those pages (similar to the Support sub-pages).  The dashboard will update similar to how it does when you enable NMC, though the layout will change slightly due to needing to show 3 or 4 coins instead of 1 or 2.

To clarify my point, I don't have any scrypt rigs yet but I have my eye on one after I earn a bit of BTC to buy it. That said, when I get the scrypt unit, how will it work when I want to mine BTC with my current rig(s) as well as, at the same time, mine LTC wih my scrypt rig ?

All the while still displaying relevant stats on the dashboard for the scypt and sha progress.

So in my case, I would like to see BTC, NMC and all relevant scrypt stats... earned, paid owed etc.

Also, with this merge will the convert to BTC be forced or like it is now on scrypt guild where one can choose to auto convert or just accumulate coin ?

Want a chance at winning some BTC, LTC or another crypto currency ?

You would point your BTC rigs to the regular servers, and your scrypt rig to the scrypt server.  They'll be on different ports.

The scrypt coins will be mined as those coins, and credited to your account as such.  There will not be a convert to BTC option.

That kinda sucks... isn't this something currently on scyptguild, why not import that feature with the merge ?

That being said, I guess the only option then is that doge becomes useless and LTC gets sent to ghash ;-/

A small update has been pushed to the dashboard/database which consolidates all the old PPS earnings data for faster lookup.  This should be completely transparent to the user, but there is always a chance I missed something!  If your earnings/unpaid balance has gone negative on the dashboard, please let me know!  All the scripts used for payout processing are still using the original data, and that original data is still kept (to preserve the history for CSV export), so it should be a simple fix if something like that has happened.

Send an email to support@btcguild.com, but you're probably screwed.  However, you obviously did NOT have your wallet locked if it was changed.  Period.  It's only possible to do manually by me if you send a message signed with the private key of the locked address.

I did sent regular e-mail you can see this address was long long in my payout history, and it was locked (I'm 99.99% sure)... a long long time ago locked...

I'll send signed letter right away.. please investigate, I looks like I was not the only one... If you track transactions...

You're the only one.  1CUMRx9LqHjHowujkTqTKpAcVk9aeGtfrt is the address your account was changed to.  That address has only ever received one transaction (other than change sent from itself).

You should definitely start changing your passwords though, because the wallet changes were confirmed via email, meaning the person has/had access to your email.  The wallet was not locked.

Lesson learned, wallet now locked.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune.

BTW is anybody else having trouble accessing the servers?  Bfgminer reported that the eu server was running slow, and is now dead.  I tried pointing to the us server but that was also reported as dead, although it has just started communicating again.

I gave the EU filtering server a little reboot after seeing your report, it was definitely going very slow.  Once you actually start mining you don't communicate with that server anymore (it redirects you), so generally if those have issues it's related to a large botnet trying to mine on it (and failing), an attack, or communication issues with the real backend servers.

I read thru the Support link and see how the address lock works but I don't see anything on how the email lock works, i.e., once locked can it be changed and how?

Email locks are generally not removed because generally an account is compromised via a compromised email (as in the case above).  So sending a message from the locked address doesn't prove anything in many cases.  A signed message from the wallet on the account is sometimes able to reverse an email lock, if the wallet used to sign the message has been on the account for a reasonable length of time (multiple payouts already processed to that address).  It's examined on a case by case basis.
