PBA, pro sports cleared to resume training as PSC-GAB-DOH order signed


Hopefully, next will be the PBA season resumption.

Practice and scrimmage resumption is the stage of the process of the PBA return so it's a welcome sight to see PBA resuming their training sessions. Now the resumption of the PBA games will largely defend on how discipline the players to follow the protocols set by the IATF. Hoping that that those violations last month won't happen again as they will pay stiffer fine.

It's depend with how the protocols will be followed by all the players and all those people around the league, if they'll keep everything on guard the resume will followed.

Also hoping that Abueva will play on Phoenix season opener. 

This is very interesting, there's no final word about this but looking at the picture  it's a good sign for him to playback.

Huge risk for the those who sign the said agreement to continue the event. Anyway,  that is their problem.of course if anything goes wrong because they just can't wait for all things to settle back to the normal. Adjusting to the new normal is just to make an assurance that not totally all the establisment will be closing especially the essentials to help control for survival because in the first place we are not ready for this phenomenon. Anyway, goodluck to them if anything will goes wrong.

Pretty sure government agencies had made a waiver before signing anything else.

Practice protocols are good. One of those is requiring all teams to undergo the COVID-19 test within the week and if all teams are cleared, training could now start.

By the way, a few days to go before entering the month of August, does anyone know when will be the official announcement? Nothing sees yet in the news but I think it will be mid-August. Seeing the numbers of confirmed cases every day, I will give around 30% chances that PBA will resume.

Don't be surprise, Calvin is already allowed to join the team's practice, he was cleared last year, so he has been practicing with the team already.

Also, the reason why it creates speculation that Abueva will now comeback at the season restart the next year, 2020, but the pandemic happened so it was delayed.

A huge risk but a good development for sure they have their own safety protocol on their team and management, they know the risk brought by the virus on how to minimize the danger on it. I'm sure they learned from the  experience of the experts since this virus takes quite a long months already so provably a plan has been done so that they can execute the practice well.

Now we are just talking of when is the official resume of the biggest basketball league in our country . They said it will be October but still it depends on the situation.

If nothing bad happens as they go along and if there will be no positive cases then maybe the resume is coming near. Anyway it will be decided next month so there is still weeks of observation. Lets just hope that nothing bad happens.

With regards to Abueva, there is a high chance that he will play this conference if it will resume since we are hearing positive comments from Comm. Marcial already but still I'm waiting for the company who will buy the Blackwater Franchise or its bought already.

The sports fanatics in our local is not posting anymore, if there's a competition, for sure they will start posting and will participate on that.

I think, No. The approval to resume practice is basically giving a time for PBA to do their respective training just in case the PBA will resume. And the resume is not just applied in basketball but for other sports as well. In other words, it's a general approval.

PBA is expected to announce their decision to resume the league next month and if ever, like to start the league by October. The approval to resume practice gives more time for teams not to rush for it in case the season will resume. A good preparation indeed instead of they will resume practice after the official announcement.

I think there would some issues to be raised in the future with the vaccines being created due to most of it were being rush.  As we all know that most of the effective vaccine created in some time for it take a lot of years to observed in a tested object so there could be a high chance that the vaccine will react to anti bodies later of the days after vaccine will be injdected to the body. However, we shall all pray that anything will be fine and everything will be alright.

I guess so. He was just frustated and very angry on that time because they were given punishments and need to pay because they did not complied to the rules given by PBA.

I expect that to happen since whenever they got a valuable asset they will just trade it to the strong them and I don't know on what they are thinking about that since how could their team earn success if they will just settled with low quality players. Maybe there are big money involve here and black water is farm team for the stronger ones, this is just my opinion but I always notice this.

Well, I am not thinking like that. It seems the problem here are the players. Of course low salary mean need to transfer to the strong and establish team to win a championship at the same time to earn big. Probably black water has poor management on the players and they were just joininh for publicity? But, the owners of this team could still earn a lot by betting on the other teams and letting their team losses in a game. Losing is not new to this team so this is why strong players will going to be traded to other strong teams for money and championship games.
