I'm hoping that they finally found the right formula to win, and that was what we called real teamwork.
Though it's still tough for them going forward without Thompson and Aguilar, at least that win was able to boost their morale.

Vic Manuel's absence did have a very big impact on the outcome of that game but nevertheless, it's a good win for the Kings and at least their morale is a little notch higher going against a very strong team that wanted to smashed them outright lol. TNT Katropa will have an easy meal going into the semis  .

Greg vs Junemar is an exciting matchup and defense-wise the former got the advantage but SMB's death five is so lethal against the young Bolick and company so I think SMB will clinch this one.

Ginebra really likes pressured games lol. Their strength are shown at that type of game crucial scene. Kudos to Phoenix that they try to hold on. If only Vic Manuel is there, they have a chance to win. Next game will be a pressured game again for Ginebra. But with how they played this conference, I don't see them winning 2 consecutive win Talk N Text. Mickey Williams now unleashed his best.

Not expecting the defending champ to make another title this conference. It's ok as they are in the bottom of standing. It's more criticizing if they are on the top of standing but still didn't get the title this year.

SMB at -4.5, I think this is a good odds considering that SMB is really good in this kind of situation. Greg has been steller in the past few games, but JMF is here to limit him and therefore the offense of the NP will be limited to Bollick only, and I also have a feeling that Ross will put a high-pressure defense of Bollick as this is a must-win for them.

About Malonzo, I guess he will continue to score but as a Rookie, too much pressure for him so he will not be consistent.

That's the strength of the SMB, they can make a decision right away because of their experience and it's a big mistake by the Northport of not putting pressure on Cabagnot who is a clutch player and was hot all night. Now, they are eliminated and SMB advances to the semi-finals.

Mr. Clutch is back, damn that was not an easy shot at all. Drive then faded away for that cold-blooded dagger to win the first game of the series for them, that's awesome. But before that, kudos to NorthPort for not giving up, they have a good run in the last minute of the game until they took the lead via that long shot by Bolick.

Lost my bet on that ballgame but the consolation for me was that I enjoyed watching until the end. The next game would be interesting to watch, let us see if the Batang Pier could bounce back on that heartbreaking loss.

The cool thing when you combine gambling and entertainment. Losing is not a big deal when you enjoy watching the game, SMB is one game ahead now the lucky charmed was back and he really made his statement, earning 20 points in your first day of duty, bringing the old team in shape showing that competitiveness again.

I can't wait to see him playing again with Romeo but this time they added Perez who really needs to learn a lot from him, if CJ will see and acknowledge how Cabagnot change the way Romeo playing the game, he will benefits a lot from this old veteran.

It won't be long before Romeo will rejoin the team again, and speaking of CJ Perez, I think there's no problem with him as he is a good team player. Just remember the game of SMB against Alaska who is now eliminated, in the last seconds, it was a broken play and CJ has a chance to shoot the ball but he chose to pass it to Lassiter because he trusts his teammate and believes that Lassiter's 3 point shooting is better than him and it turns out the right decision to make.

NorthPort becomes the talk of the community after their performance against SMB. Even they lose in that match, they gained lots of supporters. What the game, so thrilling and exciting. The game is close for the most part of the match. And that long shot by Bolick, almost close to the logo, is one of the good highlights we saw on that game.

This team has a future if they will stay healthy. Bolick is already good back in his College days and now more improving.

Looking forward to them beating the SMB for a change.
