Greg got a boost and as well as coach Pido for winning their game against ROS. Well, the last game was really controversial when coach Pido decided to let Greg out with just a 2 second remaining. That time remaining was longer than it can ever be.
Many still can't be moved on with that match but with this win that they've just took forgotten that mistake and certain win but was stolen by the last-second minute pass and play.

Greg was furious about why he was taken out, they could have won that game if he was inside. This time, they proven that coach Pido's decision was wrong because he had a game-winning block in this game and not only that, he also registered good stats making him the best player in the game.

Greg has proven himself to be one of the most valuable players in the PBA, he is playing very well to tell the Kings that they made a decision trading him to Northport, I hope Greg is loving where he is now as he is making a big impact to the team and suddenly, Northport has become an interesting team to watch. I guess today they'll have a break, no scheduled games today per https://pba.ph/.

Monster Gregzilla! Northport bounce back after an issue that results in their loss recently. Greg since the start of the conference doesn't show any signs that he is not comfortable with his team. He found the chemistry right away compare to Standhardinger in Ginebra.

But his monster performance should always be backed up by his teammates. Having a big man in the league is important and Northport is one of the team that has it. They need to utilized other player to support Greg.

It could be the 2nd block of Greg if he was not pulled out in their game against the Magnolia Hotspots, but lesson learned, I'm sure coach Pido will not pull him out anymore and will let him play until the game is over. The fans now appreciate how valuable Greg is, with Northport, his talent is very obvious compared to playing with the Ginebra which he does not have a good statistics, that's why he got traded.

Many fans got dissapointed on that substitution since he can change the game by his pressence inside the court but unfortunately their coach pull him out thats why we see an unfortunate result to them. Fans know how valuable he is inside the paint  the only thing he needs is to be utilize and get more minutes so that he can produce more quality performance in the game.

Some fans even speculate that the game was fixed because Northport is a farm team for SMC teams, lol.

Anyway, it's already over, coach Pido and Greg already corrected their mistake by winning a crucial game and Greg was the hero in that game. Hopefully, they will continue to win so this Northport will have a great conference with the help of Greg Slaughter.

You are correct that PBA is not a big market compare to NBA and no way they will. But I'm expecting some local fiat bookies here will offer betting futures since that's what "local" betting is served for so they should cover that betting option.

I tried asking my close one as he is an agent of PN**** but find no options for the PBA future. I didn't mention the site as it has a bad reputation here although I don't understand as that platform is considered a legit one here in our place and running for years now if I'm not mistaken.

That was because of the recent news that one of the SMB players is accused of being a tipster, but actually, it's not new, people already suspect that this league is rig.

I read the article, and there have been some screenshots of exchange messages by the accused and the one who accused. However, it seems like the PBA is not so interested in investigating it as in the first place, the accused has denied the accusation, and it does not help for the image of the PBA if they will prove the accusation to be true.

The accused always denies don't they? But PBA also has their reasons for not digging deeper in this matter. But people are not stupid. They know almost certainly what's going on. But the main thing is people choose to forget most of the things through time. The same thing will happen here. Though people are not sure, they know. And that streak will continue at the start of the next season. I still can't imagine how this team didn't managed to get even just 1 win. Well, maybe there is a problem internally. The management maybe? or the players themselves because they are lacking morale and focus? or even the coach for some reasons.

If you will see the roster of the team, you can't see even one all-star caliber player on it. They are just average players that are into one team hoping to get a win and remove the current lose streak.

Kinda funny TBH at least on my side but its very disappointing to see them losing 19 straight games. Revamping the whole management is a good start. Getting better players will be a good start. Having a better coach will be a good start. Revamping the whole team itself might be a step towards players getting their morale boosted. When they're not working well and they keep on losing, there's really a major thing that they have to change and now is the right time for them to review each contract and revamping the team. If they want to prolong this franchise and make it worthy, they should really need to make a lot of changes, from the coaching staff, players and almost everything to see if there's going to be a sudden change.
