Anyways, if you read the article about Chua's response, we can consider that Slaughter's return is still has a low chance "for now". Maybe because it's early to get back in business (PBA trade talks, signing, etc.) as we are in the Holiday season and still has several months to go before the PBA opening.
Damn, Chua have the edge on this battle. Ginebra won the championship without Slaughter, that is his card and he is also a very proud guy, definitely dangerous to those SMC players who have attitude problem. TR7 has changed since he talked to Chua and i hope that this problem with Greg will be ironed out and the latter will be back in the lineup. Being a sports director of SMC, he will do his best to make Ginebra a title contender every conference because it is only Ginebra that can fill the Araneta Coliseum whenever they are in the finals. I think this "Cstand for Greg" issue still open.

Oh. This is new to most of us. I don't also have an idea what Greg did and this article just came out through your share. If it's not shared, I won't know that there's an issue with Greg. That's the consequence of the action of Greg, if it's really a foul act then there will be no consideration and he'll be out of the team. It's Chua that have said it and it's a hint that they'll push him outside. Whatever lesson is Chua saying to be learned by Greg, I hope that someone inside will release whatever happened.

Ginebra have already live without him, and they have the successful, however, we cannot say it would last since Fajardo the best player in the PBA was resting that time, and when he comes back, no other big man can limit him other than Slaughter.

Well, if he will not be successful in the US, with his height, some teams will be interested on him, and you are right TNT might signed him, but how is it going to affect the play of the TNT since this team loves to run.

If they'll sign him, they need to make a big adjustment, from a high scoring team, TNT will become a low scoring team like the Ginebra Kings. I think I like that since TNT sometimes does not have a good defense, and though they are good as an offensive team, their weakness are exposed against a good team like the Ginebra Kings and the SMB.

Training is the US was Greg's lame alibi of his opposition on his possible trade with Cstand. He is 30+ years old and no amount of training could change his style of play at this age. Though he still have no contract with Ginebra, the Kings still hold the rights of Slaughter and this may change with the current rule which allows restricted free agent to chose teams they wanted to play with. If i were Greg, i'll move away from SMC teams and realize that all of this is part of the business and everybody in the PBA at the moment is tradable except the name Junemar Fajardo. My message to Greg Slaughter, be a man brader and show to the Filipino basketball fans that Chua is wrong with this move, after all you are still in demand in the PBA because a big man like you still is valuable.

Business is business, a management can anytime get rid of the player if they think they can benefit in exchange of him, and the rumor might be correct, Ginebra trying to get C. Stand in exchange for Slaughter, but this guy has some pride, he doesn't want to be in a shitty team, so things happen.

Rumors won't be there for nothing, despite of that noise that he will be traded for C.Stan, this guy chose to leave the league for a while and take his chances to develop his skills for further opportunities. He's not willing to move to another team and let his career died after, instead he move forward and find ways to get away from this posssible exchange between him and C.Stand. We will know now if the franchise will accept him back and offer another contract, more on the business side as the team continue the chase of winning more rings, if they see value for him chance is very possible to bring him back.

Yes of course, a management does not have any responsibility to player aside from paying their salaries, and no player can demand from a team unless he is like Lebron James or Kobe Bryant which are undoubtedly the best in the basketball, Greg does have the height but he doesn't have the talent just to be honest. Somehow, for sure he contributed to the team as the coach himself is happy to welcome him again. That's very sarcastic of you mate hahaha. I have to disagree with you in this one, for me Greg has talent but just far below on that of Junemar Fajardo while i believe that he is more talented than Poy Erram (many of you will disagree on this hehehe). Coach Tim Cone, being a brilliant coach sees the value of Greg Slaughter as he is the kryptonite to Junemar Fajardo but unfortunately SMC's front office have different view on that of coach Tim.

I agree, maybe he was referring JMF as the standard of talent, haha.. If that's really the comparison, then no big man can beat JMF on his talent, such guy won consecutive best player award in the PBA, other's just given a chance when he was injured, but he will be back soon. And yes, Greg has been the krptonite of JMF, seen that many times.

TRUE! Upgraded TNT still falls short of title expectationsWhat do you think this team is lacking in order to win a championship again? They can reach in the Finals, they have proven it but they can't even give a good series to the teams that they have played before. Castro will soon retire, so it will be another problem for them, they are upgraded already with Ray Parks, but I think they are still missing something. can you help me find out what it is?

They are missing a good center I guess, just like JMF and this team will be a championship contender. Honestly, I never think they'll be a champion if they don't get a good center who can dominate inside, none of the teams in the PBA have done that, the best team is the SMB because they have a good center, put JMF in TNT and they'll be a championship team. If Greg will come back, maybe they can go after him, that's the only chance as I don't see a legit big man in the PBA that could stop JMF.

Good news for SMB Fans. Terrence Romeo on track to make full recovery from shoulder injury
TERRENCE Romeo is recovering well from the major shoulder injury he suffered inside the PBA bubble.
San Miguel Corp. sports director Alfrancis Chua made the assurance on Saturday, saying he has been in constant touch with the prolific San Miguel guard during the past holiday season.
He said the 28-year-old Romeo has shown marked improvement since injuring his right shoulder in the early part of the Philippine Cup restart that ended his season.
“We saw each other, medyo OK na siya liban doon sa nagpaputol ng buhok,” he said in jest, obviously referring to the former UAAP MVP’s decision to cut his hair short following his exit in the Clark bubble. He will be back soon and SMB will again be a tough team to beat since Fajardo might be coming soon also. It's really disappointing to see a good player injured, it does reduce the excitement in watching the game, personally, I like how Romeo blend with the SMB, slowly he gained the trust of the coaching stuff.

Winning a Finals MVP in SMB uniform is a statement that he fits in the team and contribute really well. https://www.rappler.com/sports/pba/terrence-romeo-finals-mvp-2019I hope he will not be injured serious again that will make him be out of the whole conference, SMB might have a chance last conference or in the bubble to be specific if Romeo was healthy because this guy can produce some points and it's just a regular day in the office for him.
All we can do now is just to hope because we never really know if injury will happen since it's a physical sports, players are prone to that.

And those key players that made SMB the toughest team to beat in the league are now showing signs of slowing down so having a healthy Romeo is a big factor. Even there are reports that JuneMar will back next conference, he can't work right away with a heavy load so he needs healthy teammates to support him. But still, with those good changes, it's hard to get back in shape after an injury so I don't expect much in SMB next conference and still sees Brgy. Ginebra as the team to beat. Maybe in the following conferences.

Out of curiosity, I browsed if there's a recent update about Fajardo and yes, he's now cleared to play next season. Supposed to be, it's really January 2021, the ETA for his comeback, if the original flow of schedule happened. On the other hand, hopefully, BGSM's Slaughter will be considered too. Nice to see both towers in action again.

I'm glad to see this kind of positive news about JMF, he was off for a year I guess and we will see him playing back again, then PBA is back!

Nice to see both towers in action again. That's why Tim cone would be happy for Slaughter to come back with the Ginebra because no one can stop Fajardo in the paint, except him. I'm glad to see this kind of positive news about JMF, he was off for a year I guess and we will see him playing back again, then PBA is back! Posting the news about the update of Junemar Fajardo. June Mar Fajardo gets go-signal to play for SMB in next PBA seasonGood news for SMB because Romeo will also be available next season, they are now a healthy team and they'll be back to being the number 1 team in the PBA. Their closest rival IMO is just the Ginebra San Miguel, next is the TNT but nowhere close to them as this TNT can easily be dominated in the Finals based on their past performance.
