Anyway, this is basketball after all we saw many trades already and let’s see if Slaughter will really perform this time.

He will surely perform as there's no other players that could carry this team, he will fill the place of C. Stand, so definitely the expectation of him contributing to the team is very high, this is just to up his morale, coach Tim Cone is good at that, it's his secret of success.

Slaughter is a decent player, he will perform the same as when he is in genebra, although his years spent on the team was not that spectacular, they just get him for rebounds, besides I don't see any progress on his plays same as usual every conference, him being traded is a good decision for the franchise, to get better players, what I don't like is that genebra is getting all the stars in the league, I mean who on earth will trade a star player for a bunch of old bench players, there is something wrong with that, genebra is tanking every conference getting all the great players from a sister team, just to chase a championship, which they can't get if they won't do that, the PBA should do something about the situation, of what genebra is doing.

He can stand out but the fact that the team he's been sent is not the type of a team who can compete with superb teams.

He can stand out but the fact that the team he's been sent is not the type of a team who can compete with superb teams.

Speaking of injuries, that really is a big problem for the success of a player, look JMF, he is still out and with the recent report we read, he may not be able to come back early this season because there's a little problem.

MECQ now in Manila effective today until the end of April. Sports aren't allowed to open. It will be only allowed in MGCQ areas which are so far low chance to be implemented in Manila. Like last year, Manila didn't have a chance to be under MGCQ and it's likely to happen again this year. The only way for the league to open the conference right now or for few months to go is to play on MGCQ areas but since it will be outside Manila, then a bubble is really the option.

Yeah, just a formal announcement, and all of our expectations and speculations would be filled by that one huge announcement. Everyone agrees with the bubble setup because it's the best idea that they can do these days.
They're in a very situational event and it's still timely to do it, they don't have to imitate the NBA that most of them are back to their own courts because the situation is different and they've got more vaccines than us.
