The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

How The Petrodollar Quietly Died, But Don't Wonder Why You Didn't Read It On Western Mainstream Press Because They Don't Publish the Inconvenient Truths; instead, you get the propaganda hype about about a currency on its way to the garbage dumpster

Two years ago, in hushed tones at first, then ever louder, the financial world began discussing that which shall never be discussed in polite company - the end of the system that according to many has framed and facilitated the US Dollar's reserve currency status: the Petrodollar, or the world in which oil export countries would recycle the dollars they received in exchange for their oil exports, by purchasing more USD-denominated assets, boosting the financial strength of the reserve currency, leading to even higher asset prices and even more USD-denominated purchases, and so forth, in a virtuous (especially if one held US-denominated assets and printed US currency) loop.

The main thrust for this shift away from the USD, if primarily in the non-mainstream media, was that with Russia and China, as well as the rest of the BRIC nations, increasingly seeking to distance themselves from the US-led, "developed world" status quo spearheaded by the IMF, global trade would increasingly take place through bilateral arrangements which bypass the (Petro)dollar entirely. And sure enough, this has certainly been taking place, as first Russia and China, together with Iran, and ever more developing nations, have transacted among each other, bypassing the USD entirely, instead engaging in bilateral trade arrangements, leading to, among other thing, such discussions as, in today's FT, why China's Renminbi offshore market has gone from nothing to billions in a short space of time.

Nobody will allow petrodollar to die quickly. Russia and China are holding too much reserves in USD, they need some time to exchange this toilet paper for something more reliable.

Just one example, RF have recently signed a deal with DPRK. According to this agreement, $25 billion are going to be invested into DPRK's transport infrastructure in exchange for rights on their gold, platinum, palladium deposits. There will be no taxation on development of these deposits except some ecological payments, this means that RF is effectively taking a sovereignty on these parts of DPRK's territory.

They are only quoting in dollars because it is still the current international currency reference so everyone can appreciate the true value , but DPRK & Russia have a swap agreement & the actual transaction doesn't have to be  necessarily in dollar. Same with the gas transaction with China, it was quoted in dollars for PUBLICATION but the actual transactions were later clarified to be in other currencies.

The dollar appears to be very strong now- again, maneuvered, like many in the current financial system are being exposed as manipulated- but as some economists would say, a dying horse would kick so hard just to stay alive you would think it was so strong it won't go away but it will inevitably. The basic economic  & the usual intimidatory fundamentals are not there anymore.

But the the dollar won't go away, it will just be not the Mafia reference anymore.

Russia seems to be competing with China to mop up DPRK's natural resources. But at the same time, the main catch for Russia is the proposed Siberia - South Korea natural gas pipeline, which will traverse through DPRK.

So what? Even if I would read it 1000 times DPRK still has no swap agreement with Russia. What's the point?

Swap agreement with DPRK is a joke, even their citizens prefer to use Yuan rather than state currency.

OSCE: 7 out of 10 Russian ‘aid’ trucks were carrying fuel - And the other three were carrying ammunition.

Seven of the 10 Russian trucks that crossed into Ukraine on Tuesday supposedly carrying aid to civilians in the Donbas conflict zone were in fact fuel tankers, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) monitors have said.

The OSCE said in a monitoring report that the Russian convoy consisted of seven fuel tankers, one truck, one other means of transport and one accompanying car. The truck bore the inscription "Humanitarian Assistance from the Russian Federation."

This was the fifth such “aid convoy” to cross into Ukraine from Russia since August, with a sixth reported to have crossed into Ukraine later. None of the convoys have been approved by the government in Kyiv.

The OSCE said it was able to inspect the convoy, opening the truck, but Ukrainian customs officers were not allowed to approach the vehicles, and were only able to examine them visually from behind a fence and take photographs

The OSCE’s report said the convoy crossed into Ukraine at 0750 Moscow time, and returned from Ukraine to Russia at 1320.

The report may fuel suspicions in Kyiv that the Russian aid convoys are being used by Russia to deliver fuel and ammunition to anti-government russian thugs in the Donbas conflict zone. Military blogger Dmytro Tymchuk said on Wednesday that militant attacks on Ukrainian forces had intensified after the latest visits by Russia’s aid convoys, which he said had resupplied the militants and Russian mercenaries in the Donbas.

I'm almost looking forward to the redevelopment of Novorussian cities. I've been looking at clips  of Grozny& I was impressed with
the present look of Grozny. The cities of Ukraine look like its toilet.

A more casual clip on the night streets of Grozny:

This is really funny.  I can recall the propaganda in the Western press denigrating the Chechens because of their role in defeating the Ukie clowns. Well it turned out the Chechens have a city which would even make Kiev look like a toilet.

LOL, don't mind that one, there are always stupid people in a crowd.

Hey, I have an idea, the Ukie Nazis can always bomb Lvov then beg Putin to rebuild it like Grozny so that at least, an Ukie speaking city would look civilized for once.

I'm watching this clip now, a concert in Grozny
