Spondoolies Tech: "We will deliver. Trust us, we are different. We will deliver. We are not like them. It is certain we will deliver. For sure we will deliver. We are not like them, we will deliver" --- "Oh, wait a minute, we didn't expect this..."
Just like the others. Promise, promise, promise - Ooops!
But they will deliver! But it will be way under hash rate, way over power, way later than expected. We've all seen this story over, and over again. Spondoolies isn't unique in thinking they could do the job - what is unique is their supreme confidence in bragging about being able to deliver. Now, we see the exact same problem the others had, 'we are going to spend a few days looking at the data'. This is precisely the step BFL took upon firing up their new systems.

If I know anything about Spondoolies in my dealings with them so far they will move mountains to make their customers happy.
I have had nothing by excellent service and over the top compensation for anything that went even slightly amiss in my dealing with them.

Why are you trolling now? We need to wait a few more days for the final specs and you claim to be way way way. How do you know how much under hashrate it will be or how much over power it will be? You don't, but you are making lame accusations and you are comparing to a company that had a delay over 9 months. They said that the shipping dates aren't affected, only performance. Edit: I do expect jimmothy to come and troll here and I understand him (he needs something to not think about his dividends), but you I don't understand. On another note it seems like the difficulty is giving us a nice surprise: Estimated Next Difficulty: 18,901,889,350 (+9.03%)

Let us see what happens but yes there is little to point to in their brief history that would make anyone think they would short their customers. At this point they have stated this won't affect delivery dates. So let us wait to see what the numbers are and what compensation will be allocated.

Look, when you spend shitloads of money on these things based upon firm promises of delivery (including, delivery of performance promised), you get really pissed. I spend a ton of money setting up a data center based upon spondoolies firm promise of certain efficiency, speed, quality. they advertised with EXTREMELY high level of certainty they'd be different than the other guys. Suspending sales and making that announcement about compensation isn't a small thing. It is a big thing based on a big shortcoming. Even though they might move mountains to please customers, they can't create money from thin air. They have surely spent everything getting this running. They don't have money to give back. Spondoolies made the strongest promise of delivery imaginable. Now, they are in trouble just like all those before them. Even with their very good intentions, they appear to now have a serious miscalculation which will effect my operational plans. That's not 'trolling'. Is it true that everything said against your beloved spondoolies is trolling?

We're aiming to give the maximum compensation to all the customers, with our limited resources.
This is just another way of softly stating bankruptcy. They will try to distribute their 'limited resources' to 'all the creditors' as 'compensation'.

Please allow me to clarify: I am mad I didn't get in on the fantasy SP30s - you know, the ones that don't exist. The actual SP30s you know, the ones that don't perform, I am not so upset I missed those.

Given that they are pretty much the most transparent team to build miners yet given they admitted the problem. Stop sales and are working to give a complete report the FUD as always is just a minor distraction. Should this drag on months or closer to a year then you could make comparisons. Nothing I can do as a customer but wait for a statement post test.

And so it begins (well...with this BS hardware vendor).
I got railed for calling out this CO. and the people stepping on women and children to line up for these bullshit non existent pieces of hardware and now gee...guess fucking what? THEY WON'T EVER DELIVER.
This will not end until the mining community stops giving unknown random people on the Internet millions of dollars based on nothing more than an empty promise.

There was 30PH that came online earlier this week... Something is coming soon...
There is no way to determine the network total hashrate either than just looking at block generation speed and those 30PH might be just variance. Why would anyone bring online 30PH to just shut it down immediately? It makes no sense.

Why would anyone bring online 30PH to just shut it down immediately? It makes no sense. I strongly suspect the 30TH was caused by variance and by Bitmain manufacturing, testing, and shipping S3s. Keep in mind that S3s add to the network hashrate when they are being tested, but then get turned off for a couple of days while they are being shipped all around the world.
