So funny, China is so close to get under 1k infected people and they are closing the borders and US have now over 200k. What I find even more funny are the allegations that an US citizen brought it to China.

And I find it quite possible, the story seems legit. The internet is very off, or google not helpful at all. The story is about a woman that participated at the Military Olympics. China asked frankly US to provide cases of deaths by pneumonia before the outbreak in Wuhan, US didn't replied.

I am right now in Italy and for me life changed a lot past weeks. No, this ain't happening in Italy, US, maybe, even for month tbh. They mightve had the first covid19 case. The virus is called covid19 but the disease that people get is sarscov2.

 'The lockdowns worked!  We would have had the 500,000 deaths that our UK models predicted instead of the 10k from CV if we didn't to the lockdowns.'

 - Other scientists challenged  Ferguson to show the hidden source code for his modeling.

 - Ferguson said that it's old and has no comments so he won't release it.

 - Other scientists cried foul.

 - Ferguson says that Microsoft is helping to re-write it so 'no'.  And 'Oh, by the way, the 500,000 dead has been revised down to 20,000 dead half who would have died anyway.'

These fraudsters and their 'computer models'.  When will people wake up?

the UK will be saying we delayed 650k(1%) needing ventilators and beds all in one go, in which 500k ended up suffercating as we couldnt give them air because we dont have 650k beds
because we have 4000 beds right now we want to try limiting exposure by getting people to isolate.
so we only receive ~4000 severely sick at a time..
we were close but most people got all the help that was needed and each week only a few hundred died so it was 10k during isolation couple months..
AFTER the prep work, capacity can be 12k+ which means more help to give more people. so relax the isolation a little. but if we approach 12k needing beds at sametime lock it down again.. and we hope to stick to only getting a few hundred deaths a weeks or less, we aim to hope to only get 20k deaths if we can oxygenate everyone and keep their heart beating long enough for them to fight off the infection
but no medication can have time to work if they are not diagnosed properly, given meds promptly and ventilated long enough for the meds to actually do their job, which means we need to have available ventilators, beds and staff to cover it

many problems with many models. but also interpretation of models
take for instance UK had 4k ICU beds pre corona
this does not mean they can handle 4k people a day with breathing issues
people this sick can remain needing the extra care for 5 days
so thats more like an average of 800 a day to try to get an good turn around time

too many people think if there are 4k bed. and a month has 28 days. that is enough to cope with 28x4k(112k)

You don't seem to understand the 'appeal to authority' game.  If you just say something is true because some authority figure says so, that's 'appeal to authority'.  If you listen to what an authority figure is saying, analyze the points the authority is making, and ask other people to do the same, that's just good old fashioned analysis.

Anyway, the 'what if it comes back?' argument could be make whether there ever a SARS-cov-2 or not.  If something comes around, deal with it as needed.  Sure, it would be good to be prepared, but collapsing the world's economies and plunging everyone (except China) into a depression certainly isn't going to help make that happen.
