Suddenly you seem to forget that the numbers are a lie... that they are existent from all kinds of things other than Coronavirus... that there is no true way to get at the true CV numbers... that there never was because of how the medical and the CDC work to determine cause of death.

When are you going to realize that cause of death is something that is often unknown without an autopsy, and that even then it isn't always known for sure.

the numbers from your states department of health are figures of actual tests of people with actual covid

your forgetting the separate thing about the death numbers.
where again the department for heath reports actual cause of death.
separately the CDC has lists of actual cause of death where covid was the cause and also a list of death where covid was mentioned.

this means that the websites like worldometer and the department for health are showing the low numbers. and CDC are showing higher numbers. but in both cases its based on actal real human beings. not imaginary numbers

e would have lab test results available

is not simply someone making things up. they actually have to fill in the cause of death by listing the symptoms and treatments that lead to the death.

secondly 2019 was a normal year of just ~36k (2017:38k 2016:26k)

All you have to do is go to the CDC's own standard wording to find that, even in happy times, nobody knows for sure what somebody dies of.

the CDC guidelines say to note the actual sequence of events of a patient.
EG from their final breath, all the treatment, symptoms and diagnostics and tests in between all the way back to when they were admitted into hospital. and include as much detail including the tests and results and data

again the numbers on the public health websites and worldometer are the super low numbers of fully confirmed results from lab tests
the CDC also gets results from other places like care homes and those dying in their own home where its too late to diagnose someone pre death

what your not noticing is although the numbers dying due to covid are higher the over all number is still small because self isolation delayed who will get it and suffer
