If you knew even just a small smidge about Putin and who he is, you would know that there is absolutely no possible way that he would backdown and not take those two cities, he already took them, and he is not moving that much further ahead, he is just solidifying his position there and it's basically his now, as long as Ukraine keeps fighting, they have a chance to take it back, but Putin will never give up.

So the idea that Trump could stop it, means that Trump could convince Ukraine to let go of those lands, making Putin a winner. I agree with you that both candidates are not as interested in crypto as we think, it is not a major factor in the economy, we have more important issues in the economy that need to be prioritized. But cryptocurrencies are also part of the global economy and their policies and regulations will also affect the development of the market. As a crypto investor, we care about its future because its future is ours too. So we should support candidates who will introduce more open policies rather than policies that restrict the growth of the industry.

Yeah, you have a point, but still there are factors that might swayed Bitcoin to be adopted if the government are going to fully support it. If the current government of any countries are against it, then obviously it will hinder it's growth. And that's why there countries who are still in between, the middle ground, they treat crypto as neither legal or illegal. But there are some who go against it and so their population has suffered at least.

So in any case that there are elections in your country and one is going to support crypto and other are against it, and if you are a crypto enthusiast, it's hard not to vote for the candidate that promises adoption, like in this case, Trump has put crypto in their political agenda. So it's a make or break for their political party.

I appreciate this post, it's the reality of things unlike those who are bigots and believe Bitcoin will determine the next US president, how dumb is that thought? National and global security and stability are there, not to mention the US economy among others, Bitcoin will contribute less than 0.01% factor to vote for the US president and even most of the people who adopt Bitcoin will still not vote due to it, there are better pressing issues. Putin would be happy to see a Dem win again since the party is not dedicated to making the US great again. If Kamala wins this time, she doesn't need to change any policies, she needs to laugh her ass out in interviews but will still be on the cover of every magazine on earth.

Trump winning the election will stop the war while the current admin doesn't want the war to end and so is Putin. Putin is a cold strategist. To him Harris looks weaker as an opponent in conversation. She's less sharp, feels like she doesn't know much about foreign nations and can't hold her own in conversations.
She wants to help Ukraine, but also wants to stop the war by putting pressure on both countries. Putin thinks she won't sanction Russia as much as Trump would and will not have as much of an international presence. In case of a military conflict she would be less willing to send US troops anywhere. Financial aid yes, but boots on the ground - no. Trump if provoked would unleash hell.

Putin is a very calculating and smart politician, he knows he cannot openly support Donald Trump, because it would be like signaling what the interests of him and his regime are. So it is better for him to say he prefers Kamala for president in the United States.

I do not disagree. However, Putin cannot be stopped by America, Germany, France, Great Britain or Nato if they will not show the willingness to use the weapon that should be used to stop Russia. This is nuclear weapons. But Putin showed his willingness if Ukraine joins Nato. This is certainly why America will certainly not allow Ukraine to join Nato.
