I am starting to think that Biden might not even run. The guy is not doing a very good job by anyone’s standards (I’m an independent for the record so no bias here) and I think his party is going to make sure he understands that he shouldn’t be running again. I don’t think Trump will win the nomination either, I think that will go towards Ron D’s way.

A few days back he did announced about his re-run, right? Also, it will be difficult for the democrats to come up with a candidate who is acceptable for everyone, in case Biden is not running. There are questions about his health and mental state. But then, if he is OK with that, then why should anyone else bother? Trump is not that young either. He will be 82 years old when the next presidential term (2024-28) ends. But I see hardly anyone complaining about his health. Nowadays healthcare has advanced so much, and we have a large number of active politicians in their 80s and 90s.

Biden is older than Trump and in terms of having the gut to face challenges and make decisions right,Biden is weak in this aspect which makes Trump more preferable than him. Though, age shouldn't be the problem when electing a good leader into power since he doesn't make decisions on how to handle issues in the country alone.

LOL.. Trump is the same guy who took Hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID 19 without any expert medical advice. It looks as if he is healthier than Biden, but then in terms of age he is slightly behind Biden. Americans need a fresh face who can control the inflation and put the American economy back in track. In terms of mental capacity, I would rate both of them at the same level. One is suffering from dementia while the other is mentally unstable. I would prefer someone fresh from both the camps, although it is not solely due to the age of these two.

I am not even American, and I would support democratic party candidates if I were, because of.. obvious reasons. However, even I do not think that Biden is doing a good job, his only job was being a better "person" than trump, and that was a very low standard to put him into, 99.99% of the people in the world are better people than trump, and Biden barely made the cut, imagine how terrible he is as well.

However, if he decides to run, even with him being terrible at his job, he will still get the nomination because of the reasons I talked about, you do not nominate someone else when the president is running for reelection and hence we will see him run if he wants to.

We love to imagine USA as this improved and developed nation with high regard of freedom. But in reality, they are lacking that so much, they are a backwards nation, which means a female that is coloured would be pretty difficult to hit. Hell they preferred Trump over a women, although that woman was Hillary Cliton so I do not really blame them.

Long story short, Kamala would lose if she was the candidate, because she is a woman, and she is a person of colour, and it is greatly obvious that USA doesn't like that in bulk. Maybe it would be possible if she got the votes of millions of women who didn't voted, but that is a tough task and would require a lot of hard work on campaign.

This is the most ridiculous excuse that I have ever heard regarding the POTUS election. Kamala is unelectable not because of her color or gender. She is unelectable because of her extreme-leftist views. Her gender and color actually helps her in the election, as the opponents are scared of attacking her due to the fear of being branded as racist or patriarchist. The same with Hillary as well. I would rate Hillary as one of the most corrupt politicians in the United States. She couldn't even win the primaries and had resorted to rigging the election in the end, in order to defeat Sanders.

There are female democrats of color, who are electable. I am talking about moderates such as Nikema Williams and Mary Peltola. But these members are considered as too low in the picking order to have a chance at POTUS. And if the Americans were that racist, they would have never elected Barack Obama as the POTUS (and that too two times).

The USA is not very prepared for a presidency system with leftist thoughts, the USA is very used to a more capitalist-centered system, so I conclude that the USA still has a very right-focused thought.

When I hear a speech from Trump wow, it's not for nothing, but he knows how to express himself in a great way and using an almost colloquial language to be understood at all levels, Donald Trump in his speeches says things that everyone wants to achieve, I really see Trump very strong, it is very likely that I could be president, of course it is my thought and way of seeing things from a very external point of view.

I disagree bro, Biden will run again and might likely win again because he has done great jobs in the states even more than Trump, the records are there, go and verify.

It is quite weird. He lost the elections in 2020 and then created all sort of drama about it. Now even if decided to run for 2024, and wins the GOP nomination, a lot of voters will remember what he did in 2020 and that will have an impact on their voting patterns. Trump is extremely selfish. After he lost in 2020 POTUS election, he refused to campaign for the Republican candidate for the Georgia senate runoffs. And even during the recent midterms, he pushed a lot of unelectable candidates, which eventually gave Democrats the control of senate.

My take is - Trump is able to attract sizable number of votes (and at the same time lose almost an equal number of votes), but in the long term he is detrimental to the long term prospects of the Republican Party. He only cares about himself and will go against the party if he doesn't get what he need. Trump's base does not care about the future of the Republican party, as far as they are concerned, it is a battle between them and the hidden forces who want Trump out the game, and there are actually people within the GOP who are very unpopular among the average Republican voter, aka Mike Pence.

in spite of Trump being what he is, there is still a chance he becomes president again if not indicted this year, that means there will be much people who may bet on his victory if his Democrat rival proves themselves to be "weak" against him.

He may not support war but that doesn't mean there won't be one. If China attacks Taiwan, or if North Korea attack the South there will be a war in which the US will take part, despite of whoever they choose to be the president. IMO Biden has no chance for reelection. He's too old and is proving to be weak. A weak president makes the country look weak.

If China cannot take control of Taiwan, then most likely a war is going to happen, and US should be prepared for it. Maybe it’s just a bonus if the next President will be able to control the pressure and make the right approach so that  everything will not end up in war. But if Biden will still win, I doubt he can stop a war with China. Oh my god, isn't that the consequences of my own actions! Republicans deserve a character like Trump ruining their chances, they did so many bad things during his time and they basically gave him all this power.

Now, they are dealing with the fact that his croonies are causing trouble in the party, even the selection of speaker of the house took days because of them and it is not really a shock that they got a ton of power with so little amount of people, because they are willing to fight very dirty.

many African leaders remain in power or even enter power at the age of 80, although I still think that old people should be banned from running for president of a country, which shocks me in Biden's case and that he doesn't seem to have a good health to continue as president, he seems to be a tired person who should retire, there were many cases that show that he is very old

I would not be surprised too. There are still a lot of supporters from different parts of their country.
Biden on the other hand became just a president, not "the" president that all Americans are looking for. He is weak, and moving like a puppet just being controlled by the people near him.
Trump's leadership somehow shook the political point of view of their people and it made an impact.
Now, if Trump badly wants to win this next election he cannot just stay at the old programs he made, he should also crawl his way to those who are making fun of him. Make them change sides because he might not make it if a fresher opponent comes.
