I don't live in the US, but like many other people interested in world politics I follow the events and was shocked by the attack on Trump. I am glad he is alive and well! As we can see now he has a significant margin of popular support and this event played a significant role in that. I think he will have even more supporters from the cryptocurrency community after his speech at the Bitcoin 2024 conference. So he will most likely be the new president.

Some people left the details that he said sorry to Trump and wanted to make him win the election again, probably as a way to argue that Trump's choice is questionable. To be fair, I prefer someone young and better over these two crazy person. I think that many people will vote for Trump because of this accident because that proves again that you can't feel secure in America but at the same time I see that Joe Biden is trying to attract votes by being attentive about Trump's situation. I have atleast; three sure friends from the US, and last time I chatted them seperately to get a clue and information on how they are going about the coming election, they three of them respectively wished for one and the same thing, and that is that, Donald Trump will return back to power.

It is a bit strange but I've seen waves of support for one candidate or another in the mainstream media all around the world.

It seems like they are in control of someone and they are changing their mind.

Also strange is that you rarely hear anything about the actual presidential promises, you only hear about how bad the other candidate is.

I can almost guarantee that most people that will vote don't really have a clear idea of the projects that will be done in their candidate's term, but they will know that the other one is bad.

Nothing to be surprised of, to be honest. It is a symptom of the devolution of the media and a symptom of devolution of politics as a whole in the western hemisphere as well. The media, which is mostly corporate media, do not care anymore for people to be educate and know what projects their candidates have to offer for the future of the country, it has become rather a competition on which channel can throw more dirt onto the opponent.
I even admit, it has been difficult for me to have a clear idea on what each candidate has to offer for their country and their allies in general.

In order for anyone to actually know what each presidency is capable of, it would take some actual research and evaluate both the terms of Trump and the current term of Biden, but that requires actual effort so most people would not do it.
