It is the opposite to me, during the first presidential campaign of Donald Trump, I actually thought he was in his 50-60, I was surprised when I searched his age in internet and turned out he was that mature. He is basically a grandpa which tries to fool the camera and the viewers with his hair (which I assume to be fake) and also that artificial tan he has  which can be too orange for some people.

I do not even know why he was to look tanned all the time.

He does not look that old to be honest, I genuinely thought he was in his sixties at most.

Biden on the other hand does look old and even the way he walks seems very fragile. Not a surprise he is 80.

Age? A mere digit? Think again! The truth is, as years pile up, our bodies wear down. Trump, in his vibrant 70s, appears younger and more energetic than 80-something Biden. It's tempting to label Biden as aged and weak, but he's a treasure trove of experience. Is that enough for leadership, though? Some may clamor for a youthful, rejuvenated face in politics. The world's changing fast, and we need leaders who keep up. Yet, some may champion age for its wisdom and steadiness, requiring leaders with plenty of laps around the track.

As a person what follows the American politics and the international politics, I am growing more sick and tired each day of the same group of political dinosaurs who continue to hold onto power and do not give more chances to younger generations to push for fresh and new ideas.

It would easily welcome any young candidate for the democrat part who would dare to face Trump (and Biden in the primaries) and win the votes of the so called zoomers or Z-generation people.

Also, Nikki Haley seems to continue pushing the narrative that Biden is too old and he is supposed to get his cognitive skill tested, while she does not stand a chance.

I am 99% sure that it is going to be either Trump or Biden in 2024. And both of them will win the nomination from their party for different reasons. In case of Trump, his supporters will refuse to vote for anyone else. And his only opponent with a realistic chance (Ron DeSantis) is now slipping in opinion polls and may never announce his candidacy for 2024. In case of Biden, even if he doesn't want to run for POTUS 2024, the Democrats doesn't have any other choice. He is the only candidate who could attract moderate votes to Democrat party. Something that Kamala would never be able to achieve.

And Trump has made use of this fact in a big way. Seriously, I don't think that Joe Biden should run for POTUS elections in 2024. American voters gave him 4 years at the top most post, and now he needs to admit that he is unfit for that job on health grounds. But one issue for Democratic Party is that they don't have a suitable candidate to replace him. At this point, Robert Kennedy Jr is the second most probable candidate, but he is strongly anti-establishment (much like Donald Trump). If Kennedy is the candidate, then he will win by a landslide. But the establishment Democrats will not allow that to happen at any cost (similar to what they did to Sanders back in 2016).

By that logic Trump got 4 years as well, he shouldn't be elected neither. I am not American, so I really don't care what happens with them in the sense that whichever gets elected it won't impact by day to day life. But for betterment of the world, if I were given an option, I would love to make sure they are both not the candidates.

Who is the biggest nominee from republicans that is not Trump? DeSantis? Great, give him the nomination, I have absolutely no idea who he is but I am sure that he would be less bad, not just because personally he could be less worse, I mean personally he could be a worse character, but it would be his first year, and Trumps second term, so he would be less bad. Who is the next biggest democrat candidate? Kamala? Fine, so make it DeSantis vs Kamala, in that case I would have absolutely no worries, pick whoever, will be much better result than either Trump or Biden.

In all honesty, politics surpasses mere faces and factions. Prioritize crucial matters, seek candidates with the guts to confront them. That's the real impact-maker.

Whenever a president is running for reelection, there is nearly nobody that is fighting against them, because people know that there is no chance that they could win, so instead they focus on what they could do later on. The real trick is that what's going to be the case after these two are done.

We all know that Trump will not be able to run again, this is his last one, because he would be waaaaaay too old by the time this one is over, obviously that is if he loses, if he wins then he already won't be able to. In the Biden case it's the same, if he wins then he can't, but even if he loses he will be waaaay too old to run again. I had already commented on this, political parties even if they hate each other internally, but when it comes to having a president in power who belongs to his party and is in his first term, it is unlikely that the political party will remove that president and put another candidate to run, and why do political parties not do this? because the logic is very simple: the party puts bidem as president for 4 years, for example, after 4 years biden still has health for another 4 years, so if the party goes public and says that they are going to put someone else to run then all people will understand that the Z party does not have the competence to manage the country, because what will the Z party claim to remove president biden? bad gestation? if so then party Z will also be accused of mismanagement and incompetent

so it doesn't make any sense for a party to remove or put another candidate when they have a president who is in power and has another 4 years in office, in the case of the opposition they can keep claiming that the current president is not managing the country well, it does everything it makes sense for the opposition to use these arguments, but for the Z party to come out in public and say that the president is not managing the country well, then the party will also be frowned upon and putting another candidate would be a disaster and that is why it is predictable that they will put bidem as candidate and put trump as a candidate, because in the last elections trump narrowly lost so he has a better chance of winning

The only reason Hillary Clinton could not run again against Trump instead Biden, it was because (in my opinion) she has not aged well both politically and physically. But in reality age is not a problem that needs to be debated because there are many state leaders who are quite old.
After all, if this election is over, Trump will not be able to nominate again because it is more to the public who may not have much interest in Trump being able to become a leader and usually people always want a new leader who can bring new changes to their country.
Clinton has served for two terms and this is impossible if she nominates again because it will only be in vain and indeed the ones dominating the election are Biden and Trump so it will be very overwhelming to be able to get more votes if she goes forward to run for office.

Just the two of them do look like there is really nothing good will come out of that but unfortunately that will be the case most probably. USA will be the losing one whoever wins that race, I pity them a lot, they couldn't bring out a good decent candidate since Obama, such a shame. Right now, even Mitt Romney looks like a good alternative to be fair, he wasted his chance running for president on Obamas reelection, he should have been the nominee now to be fair.

In any case, it is going to be a tight race without a doubt, we have seen 4 years from both of them, and the polls even today looks close enough, and it will only get closer. We will most probably see it go either way and very close during the election as well. It will come down to just few tens of thousands of votes for something 400+ million people will be affected by.

LOL..... Biden doesn't need to kick the bucket in order to have Kennedy or Kamala to become the Democrat nominee. What if he gets a stroke and become paralyzed? While I completely agree with your argument that a lot of people who are aged above 80 are alive in this planet, you ignore one crucial fact. Most of these people are in care homes or medical facilities, and are unable to perform daily activities without outside help. Age is going to be a big factor in 2024 POTUS elections. Especially if Ron DeSantis or some of the other younger candidates win the nomination from the other side.

It is a bit more about which party you want at the top more than just Biden as well. Most likely Biden will run with Kamala Harris as his running mate yet again, and that means if you vote for Biden, even if he dies, Kamala will take over, and even if you do not personally like Kamala, she is still a democrat and if you dislike Trump then you would rather have Biden dying at the office and Kamala becoming the president.

You would not bet for Tucker because moral or statistical reasons, because the way I see it. He has indeed more chances than all the Republican candidates that are not Donald Trump. Actually I would get a bit further than that and say he would stand a chance to beat Joe Biden, but of course he won't become a candidate this incoming year, that would imply to run against Trump and we all know that won't work well for his career and possible political future.

However, I honestly think he will run for president sooner or later, once the Trump family name is out the ballot. He has accumulated so much power over part of the Republican party that I suspect he won't leave unused.

This means that the 2024 POTUS elections will be fought on negatives of the candidates rather than focusing on real issues such as employment, economy and immigration. And this is not going to end well. BTW, two days back there was a poll from ABC News/Wash Post. It showed both Trump and DeSantis ahead of Joe Biden by a massive 6 points. The poll also showed that Trump commands more than twice the level of support from GOP voters as DeSantis does. There is a huge gender gap though. Trump has an advantage of +17% among the men and -3% among the women.

Perhaps it is a little bit unrelated, but it seems that the pathological liar known as George Santos has been arrested and charged with several accounts of fraud. What a time to be alive, seeing some lying politicians facing and justice and arrests.

For know, two of them: a freshman house member for the Republican party and also a former President. I can't help but wonder if the trial of Santos could possibly worsen the public imagine of the Republican party and damage their chances next year to get the presidency.

This continues to get more and more interesting.

Yahoo News published their numbers today, and for the first time in a while Joe Biden is ahead of both Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis. Trump is 2 points behind (45-43), while DeSantis is trailing by 3 (45-42). In another encouraging bit of news for Biden, yesterday's poll from Susquehanna puts him ahead of DeSantis in the state of Pennsylvania by 9 points. These two are Democrat-leaning pollsters, and therefore I will not give much importance to them. But still, numbers provided by them will boost the morale of the Biden camp.

At the end of the day I'm sure Trump will be the at least close to become the next president.

And Biden will be there as well, both of them, at around 50%.

I'm not sure how people would feel about it. Another term for their president?, both have already served. You can see what they have done in real life.

Maybe some people want a third option, but I don't think there is.

If the elections are being held right now, then Trump will win by a landslide. If he is leading the popular vote by a comfortable margin, then he is going to sweep the electoral college (that is how the system works to the advantage of the GOP). Right now, Americans are opting for the lesser evil among the two available options and for many it is going to be Trump. There is a lot of discontent in the United States over double-digit inflation, stagnant economy and the failed economic policies. And Trump has the advantage of not being in power at this time. Third party option... is simply not there.

That is the vision I have, for me the things they are doing to evade Trump or disable him with what they put him with the ex-lawyer for me is a very dirty trap that they are setting and I think that is why politics I have never liked it, but here in this politics of the USA they can be easily unmasked and that is what attracts me, politics is going to another level, so eventually the name of Trump grates in the heads of many, but for me in what Staff is the best of all, who has better preparation and is not a born politician, but before being a politician, he is a businessman, and a country like the USA must be well managed by a great businessman.
