Trump refused to campaign for the GOP, after he lost the presidential election. And as a result, GOP lost both the senate seats from that state, despite having an advantage in the first round. Perhaps this is the reason why the casinos are giving such low odds to GOP candidates for the 2024 elections, despite having a lead in many of the opinion polls.

Seem a game changer to counter the BRICS that are shifting to the gold standard. The polls though don't manifest, Sir Bob isn't winning. If no media is covering RFK Jr, no matter what he can offer. I'm not sure that Trump will end up being arrested. It would be a really massive thing, an ex-president and a candidate being in jail?, that must be unheard of in the US.

One thing that I have realized till now is that Bitcoin is very vulnerable to government action. In case the authorities put obstacles for cryptocurrency exchanges, or bring additional regulations, the exchange rates can go down by quite a lot. In this regard, the election of Kennedy can be very beneficial for us. All that said, the Biden administration hasn't tried to shut down the cryptocurrency sector. This was a concern in 2020, but the new admin never tried to do something like that although their stance towards Bitcoin is not entirely positive.

I personally think those odds could eventually get better for the GOP candidates as the date for the election approaches and people starts to seriously pick up their options to vote for and more votes concentrate in the few Republican candidates who do well in the debates, though MAGA voters are a special case.

Trump as expected does not plan to participate in the Republican debates to be hosted by Fox, which only shows the division within the party. Democrats surely are very pleased with all this infight, being aware that if Trump does not get the nomination, the WH will remain blue, because the MAGA vote won't be present.

Trump being the underdog makes it an attractive option to place money on him. If people were okay with him being a racist, lying, cheating, scamming, sexual abuser I doubt that stealing classified documents is going to affect him in a negative way. Biden is no saint himself. He has a ton of baggage when it comes to corruption, race issues, and sexual abuse and is clearly showing signs of dementia. Cornell West is also a credible enough third party candidate that he could win over enough support from Democrat leaning voters, African Americans in particular, that it could prevent Biden from being re-elected.

I know that should not make any sense at all but there is a weird amount of dilemmas and different approaches in American culture. Like kids brings guns to school and shoot people up which is a terrible tragedy and yet they still do not ban guns for some reason, and they do go around killing people all around the world, been in almost every war for the past 70 years or so, and then suddenly they care about abortion because killing is bad, or something like that.

They may say it's fine if Trump touches people wherever they want, like that's normal, but would be mad if a presidents son does cocaine for example. Where they draw the line is weird a bit, they are not known for their consistency. Basically it's about "what my guy does is ok, what your guy does is not ok" situation, that's it.

Trump was already arrested and released I think, I really doubt he will be sent to actual prison.   What they usually do with a head of state is house arrest which is already considered a big deal in terms of censure.   Its not unprecedented exactly, the former President of France for example not too long ago was convicted of fairly serious corruption and I believe house arrest occurred in that case.  Its barely news I guess partly as he cannot run again, imo Trump never really will but he could influence others.

Well, it depends a lot from one country to another.
In Brazil for example, the president also has the power to provisionally create any law that does not interfere with the constitution (our "supreme" laws), he does this through provisional measures, but they need to be approved by congress.

Congress can also vote sanctions on the president and even remove him from office, as it once did with former president Dilma Rousseff.

But, as you rightly mentioned, El Salvador is an extreme case where the President really has "unlimited powers" and is almost untouchable.

For these more radical countries, the "higher law" is always the vetoes and sanctions of other countries when democracy or human rights are infringed.

Agreed with most of your post, but we need to remember certain facts. It is true that the SCOTUS holds a lot of power. But then, who appoints the SCOTUS judges? During his term (2016-20), Trump managed to appoint three SCOTUS judges - Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. This tilted the political orientation of the SCOTUS towards right. Travel ban was rejected by the SCOTUS, when it still had a liberal majority. BTW, if I am not wrong, the El Salvadorian president (Nayib Bukele) dismissed the supreme court judges in his country, accusing them of corruption.

The Treasury is under the Executive branch, so the President probably does have quite a bit a power to put behind an executive order, so I don't think he would need to wait for congress to pass any legislation, at least initially.  I could be completely off here though - but it doesn't really matter either way, RFK is just distracting the country.  I think he likes the attention.

Considering Kennedy is democrat and he is going against Biden, we can easily say that it is not happening and will not happen, it's a done job and it's already finished. At this point, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is polling somewhere between 15% to 20% of the democrat vote. He is considerably behind Biden, but we can't say that his chances are extremely low. Apart from Biden, he is the only candidate with double digit support among the Democrats. In the end, he is not going to win the nomination, but there is a large section of the American population who supports him. And in case he ask his candidates to stay at home during the election day, it can have a huge impact on the outcome of the POTUS 2024 elections.

Biden couldn't even get rid of student debts, let me tell you that much about how much executive power has. I mean that was one of the most important things to him and worked very hard to get it done, which I think would be great for everyone, the whole nation because even if you have no debt, you make money one way or another, either own your own company, or work for someone else, and when the people with debt no longer have it, they will spend that money on the place you work, which would have benefited you.

The guy also said that covid 19 was "ethnically targeted" to spare Jews, so i wouldn't take anything he says seriously. Also i find it quite worrying that price of bitcoin should follow who is president and what people are saying. Bitcoin was planned to not give a crap who's president or how the markets are doing. It was planned to live outside of daily politics and to be resiliant currency/store of value that exist despite any government's effort to dismantle it.
