At the end of the day I'm sure Trump will be the at least close to become the next president.

And Biden will be there as well, both of them, at around 50%.

I'm not sure how people would feel about it. Another term for their president?, both have already served. You can see what they have done in real life.

Maybe some people want a third option, but I don't think there is.

If the elections are being held right now, then Trump will win by a landslide. If he is leading the popular vote by a comfortable margin, then he is going to sweep the electoral college (that is how the system works to the advantage of the GOP). Right now, Americans are opting for the lesser evil among the two available options and for many it is going to be Trump. There is a lot of discontent in the United States over double-digit inflation, stagnant economy and the failed economic policies. And Trump has the advantage of not being in power at this time. Third party option... is simply not there.

it seems that chances for Pence to even get to the primaries are getting worse and worse with each month that passes by.
Today I have seen on the news that the former Vice President of the Trump administration has finally given up and has testified under oath in the investigation concerning the alleged efforts done by Trump to continue in office illegally.

I can bet that this will be perceived as a treasonous act by Trump supporters and the bulk of the Republican base, since he has very certainly provided the prosecutors with damaging information about the intentions of Trump leading to January 6th 2021.

Trump on the other hand seems like the only candidate after 4 years of Biden

In a progressive way moving on with a candidate like DeSantis  I think most likely but it depends on the body of support in the party either way.   The mistake we could make at this point is judging merely the most vocal elements of the party and of course its Trump plus fans but has that yielded any great advantage or likely future path to power.   I'd like to bet on DeSantis or similar candidate with high odds as a kind of outsider who get the nomination, really not sure he can win past that so after I might cash out before the main election.
  Also not every candidate wants to line themselves up for the inter term of the election, ie. the best chances of winning comes with the end of a 2nd term so say if Kamala Harris tried to run for President this is what some in politics will wait for imo, they are canny like crocodiles waiting for the best chances to snatch victory.

I don't know very well how the laws are in the USA, but apparently they have Trump in their sights so that he doesn't become the presidential candidate, and it's not because I believe in what I think or what might happen, but Trump told me It seems that he is the strongest candidate in the USA, if they allow him to be a candidate I could win, and what's more, for me he is the one who is going to win, I don't know how but if they are trying to Tarnish Trump with respect to the accusations (which I don't believe) because this guy seems to me to be faultless, because it's very bad,Because if 'pel wins, the First thing he will do is throw out all those in Charge of the judicial system in the USA if the President has such Authority .

they will be lower int the future, I'm pretty sure of that, so, it's better to place your bet right now, if you believe she has a good chance. I placed a small bet on her just in case. Won't make a millionaire if I win my bet, but will be enough for a 4-pack of Guinness and a can of Pringles, I guess.

I don't know what to say about these odds. They seem so far away from reality. At this point, Kamala is the second most probable Democrat nominee for the POTUS 2024 elections. Given this, odds of 17.00 for her sounds outright crazy. In case Biden decided to run again in 2024 (which he has done), then I don't believe that anyone form his party would challenge him (obviously Kennedy is an exception). But there is a real possibility that Biden would not be able to run in 2024, either due to ailing health, or due to scandals (Hunter Biden story?).

I am a bit confused. I can see that Stake do have options to bet on the primaries. Right now, for the GOP nomination, Trump is at 1.40, while DeSantis at 3.75. On the other side, from the Democrat side we have Joe Biden at 1.16, Kennedy at 13.00 and Kamala at 17.00. The big development here is that Kennedy has overtaken Kamala as far as odds are considered. I would still say that Biden's odds are a bit too high, given his age and unfavorable poll numbers. BTW, Stake would be the ideal platform to make these sort of bets, since they have been around for so many years. I would rather not trust some of the newer platforms, even in case the odds are attractive.

I am not entirely sure if it would be too profitable though. The possibility of Trump getting the nomination is huge, the only way he would not be the next nominee is if he gets jailed or something and I still think that's not going to happen. This is why it is a lot better to see this situation unfold before making a bet, but a nominee getting jailed?

More importantly a former president getting jailed? That feels like a tough situation and would probably not happen. Did he commit crimes? If you ask me, he did and he should be jailed if he was a regular person. But this is the guy that 70+ million people voted for, I am not sure if it will continue to be like that for a long time. I would say that, at this point there is a very real possibility of Trump going to jail. And in case that happens, he will not be allowed to participate in the POTUS 2024 elections as one of the candidates (someone from the US please correct me in case my understanding is incorrect). And it doesn't matter whether he got 70 million votes in 2020. A crime is a crime, and even ruling presidents are not immune from the course of law. Given all this, the odds provided by various sportsbooks seems a bit too favorable for me. I would rather go with DeSantis at this point. But then, his popularity is also going down.

Obviously, no one should deposit their money is some small casino only for the better odd, reputation and reliability is important.
That being out of the way, I would like to say that I am not completely in favor of including DeSantis since he has not formally declared his presidential run yet. It would feel more comfortable if they stuck to those who have already claimed their intention to run: Biden, Trump Nikki Haley, Mike Pence.

At least that way we would be sure our bets would make it through the primaries, instead being afraid of DeSantis or others decided not to run out of fear of facing the Orange ex-president Trump.

Also, It seems Trump is not in a rush to participate in public debates with his Republican foes, which is strange, since he is good at crushing people in the stage, as he did to Ted Cruz back in 2016.

There is only a 4-year difference between Biden and Trump (Biden is the elder one out of these two). But I could agree with the argument that Trump is much more healthier than Biden. The latter apparently suffers from dementia, which is likely to get worse as his age progresses. He will be 86 years old by the end of his second term (in case he manages to win the 2024 POTUS elections). I would not prefer either of these two. IMO, the American voters need someone with fresh ideas.

Only possible way for Biden not to be nominee is him dying, or something major happening like being bed ridden or in hospital etc etc, basically not dead but not alive fully neither. They need something like that to happen in order for him not to be the nominee, it would be very difficult to pick someone else when he is the president.

The only reason why he is not at 1.01 or something is because he could have some health problems, if he was a health 40 year old guy, he would have 1.01 because it is very unlikely in any party, to have a president that doesn't run for reelection, almost every single president has always managed to get the nomination for reelection, it's too common. Look at trump, he even lost once, and he still gets the reelection, because he was their last president.

That means that they will probably have a larger lifespan than the average American.

And Trump has made use of this fact in a big way. Seriously, I don't think that Joe Biden should run for POTUS elections in 2024. American voters gave him 4 years at the top most post, and now he needs to admit that he is unfit for that job on health grounds. But one issue for Democratic Party is that they don't have a suitable candidate to replace him. At this point, Robert Kennedy Jr is the second most probable candidate, but he is strongly anti-establishment (much like Donald Trump). If Kennedy is the candidate, then he will win by a landslide. But the establishment Democrats will not allow that to happen at any cost (similar to what they did to Sanders back in 2016).

He almost broke his leg while going into a plane if I recall correctly.
Anyways, it is because Trump has learnt since he was very young that personal image is very important, he learnt so while he was in TV and since he got into politics, he knew how to use his personal charisma and imagine as some sort of leverage to inspire his followers into supporting him way beyond traditional politics.

Trump created his own version of populism, a bit different from the classical demagogue from developing countries.
He re-invented the formula of the north-american populism and that is why he can be considered to be dangerous by some many people in the establishment.

A lot of people hate Trump, because he is quite outspoken. But at the same time, he was courageous enough to take a few steps, which the establishment politicians would never consider in their entire career. Health of American economy was very good until Trump and the inflation rate was in low single digits. New jobs were being created at a good rate. But everything changed in 2020, when the COVID pandemic struck the United States. If the pandemic was not there, Donald Trump would have easily won the POTUS elections in 2020.

It's tempting to label Biden as aged and weak, but he's a treasure trove of experience. Is that enough for leadership, though? Some may clamor for a youthful, rejuvenated face in politics. The world's changing fast, and we need leaders who keep up. Yet, some may champion age for its wisdom and steadiness, requiring leaders with plenty of laps around the track.
