I was just wondering. If by some chance, Trump becomes ineligible to run for POTUS 2024, what would be his reaction. Would he ask his supporters to boycott the elections (which is a very stupid move in my opinion), or will he nominate someone else such as Ivanka in his place? Trump is so unpredictable and I really can't predict what he will do if something like that happens. If he goes for the first option, then there will be massive civil unrest in the United States, because a significant share of the population are still loyal to Trump.

I hate people that are so consumed by power, that's what Trump has been doing ever since he lost the second term in his election because he was incompetent but he is ashame to admit that, his ego wouldn't let the government do his job, and his supporters are consume by hate even when they knew he is an opportunist and a manipulator but I love the fact that Biden government have calm his nerves with the atrocities he has done throughout his life, anything that will make him stay away from that power is a welcome change because I can't stand all those insults he has made throughout his tenure.

I'm surprised with the news you watched for it's very much different from what the usual people had seen today. But I doubt Trump will nominate Ivanka or Erik, if he becomes ineligible, it stops there. They'd already seen how dirty politics is compared to business where the Trumps are more familiar with such stage. I think only Donald has the grit t pursue it.

To be honest, I could easily see Eric Trump to try to pursue a political career to crush those who did wrong to his father, in his eyes. The Trump bases would be willing to vote for Eric if Trump personally asked for it in his bootleg social media.

The thing is that I am not sure on the level of charisma Eric or Ivanka has to keep their possible supporters as loyal and mobilized as Trump does to them. The good news if that I am sure Trump would not mind to give lessons on politics to them, if that meant to get his revenge on the Democrat party and the Department of Justice.

As far as I understand, there will be Primary elections first. That's when members of each party decide who will be their official nominee for president of the United States. However a recent poll from Harvard-Harris (published on 17th June) also put Trump ahead of Biden by the same margin. Harvard is a left-leaning pollster and if their poll has Biden trailing by 6 points, then he is in a lot of trouble.

Independent of who the person is, I think once the process starts they cannot leave the country legally. Or maybe there are some technicalities around this.

So in all probability Trump will be fighting the elections under the shadow of conviction. Chances of Trump being proven innocent? That depends upon the interpretation because the Democrats are never going to admit defeat irrespective of whatever happens during the legal process. They believe that it will make him more unpopular. But recent polls suggest otherwise.

Who knows maybe all these were nothing than to just disorganized his plans and get him busy on what he may not have planned for, we cannot predict political games completely because they may appears in any forms beyond we have planned or expected to see them coming, Trump needed to go low for some reasons and if possible renounce and erect another candidate in his place instead because they have set him on target already.

It may depend on how small the time window would be between the announcement of him being called as a witness and the schedule of this campaign event. He could be planning to appear in front of a big crowd on a specific day and then he get called to court with only 3 days or anticipation, keeping in mind the size of his events and the amount of preparation they need, it would be very disappointing for his supporters if he is not there for them.

The worst thing is that this election is not only about Trump or Biden, but about a huge impact on the global society. The one society that we all are, how we all belong together and should more try to share the good and solve the bad in the best interest of each other. I know that this is unrealistic, but with Trump as a president we will certainly have more polarization and hate. I don't even want to judge, but when Trump now gets sued, loses and is even put behind bars, what can the world expect from someone who is then even more full of anger, aggression and the desire for revenge? He is already unpredictable, but then i wouldn't even dare to predict what Trump is about to do in the next 5 minutes. That's a weight to carry but Trump will really be facing all this challenge to win this race. He sees Biden has no chance actually. If Biden can answer back in a debate, he will lose. If he can't face a debate, he will lose as well. This has more weight for Joe because the questions will not be about ice cream flavor.

In the past, Republican nominees represented the interest of the party and anyone who wished to join the run for the nomination was supposed to follow those interests, which were the same interest of the Republican base.

Things are different now Trump has managed to mix the interest of the party with his own personal ones and personal agenda, he convinced the Republican voters that the party is not longer about freedom, small government and free market but rather about some conspiracy theories and countering any legal trouble he gets himself into by his own actions, and since the interests have changed the new generation of republican lawmakers try to appeal the Trump base as well, it is the new "normal", I am afraid.
