Has anyone in the private testing had a chance to compare it to Claymore's release from a few hours ago of his PrimeGPU miner?  (I can't test it - no windows).

https://mega.co.nz/#!D9pVxY6J!ER7G4Ani4Ve8bOAMYWrljYMPGbJX0JMka6MfZ_EuDgA

Please note - that's not my file, and I'm not endorsing it or making any claims about it being legit, etc.  It's from a ypool discussion, but people there are reporting much happiness and chain finding.

What a funny thing it would be if XPM went from zero to three GPU miners in the scope of three days. Smiley

Where can I find the forum/ site where the miner was released?

The link is right there in from what you quoted from dga. Claymore is in the ypool.net chat area at the moment.

It's working on my MSI Twin Frozr III HD 7970 OC BE.... 3.2269 share value/h for the 45 minutes it's been running, I'll give it 6~12 hours to see how it does....

https://plus.google.com/photos/117233004469758429824/albums/5998501820136281233?authkey=COzAg4iJ48DOMg
From these numbers it looks like it produces ~0.3 chains/day:
57000 4-chains/h
27 7-chains/h

So it probably has:
4-chains/h: 57000
5-chains/h: 4450
6-chains/h: 348
7-chains/h: 27
8-chains/h: 2.1
9-chains/h: 0.166
10-chains/h: .0.013  => 0.3 cpd

EDIT: It's a 290x, right?

No, for 290x I have detailed stats:
4ch - 88000
7ch - 59
8ch - 5.1
9ch - 0.45
10ch - 0.038

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

10ch - 0.038
So it's 0.9 cpd on a 290x.

Can you provide any info on how it performs on 7970/280x?

I've just bought 280X. It will take several days to get stats. Anyway, it is not optimized for any cards except 290/290X at the moment.

Wonder how this will pan out in terms of return in a month or so when a ton of GPU clients are out there massively increasing difficulty.

Not to mention it will generate a lot of XPM for sale which may (not necessarily) drive the price down.

There won't be any real increase in coins for sale. They will just be in different people's wallet.

The primegpu miner is faster than the Claymore one for 7970/280X. I get time=238 on primegpu and time=770 on Claymore.

10ch - 0.038

Can you provide any info on how it performs on 7970/280x?

I made the conf file with the following:

rpcuser=[Wallet Address]
rpcpassword=x

Then it started working fine.

I'm just use to putting the wallet address as rpcuser from prior solo mining experiences.

So, part of the software is the server/miner portion and the other is kind of a wallet/block viewer. I could open the qt, it said it couldn't lock in the data.

My cpu usage is 20% or less, is that normal for one 7970 running on a quad core cpu setup?

Guys, would you please use some other thread for setup instructions for other miners.
(I believe some people might think that you're reffering to ours.)

Guess I could setup up a thread XPM GPU miner setup/config for each miner seperately.

On prime GPU miner i am at 240-250 time for each 290x.  Hoping for improvement on these cards soon.

As far as the 7970/280X, primegpu is faster than Claymore's gpu miner. Claymore's seems to be better for the 290/290X.

Yep.
1) Influx of new coins lowers with the rise of the difficulty
2) Botnet owners are more likely to dump XPM than GPU mining enthusiasts.
