We are in talks with a pool.

I thought it is a matter of using the pool miner's source code? e.g. Beeeeer's?

if u want to import you go to the miner type primecoind.exe dumpprivkey for the address for the block found it will give a long key copy that go to the wallet type importprivkey and that key and it will transfer now each miner will come up with more than 1 so you will have to do it more than once before you get them all but from then on any block found will go to that wallet that u imported the keys to

I am afraid you lost me with above guide. Why would I want to import some private key into my existing Qt account? and if so - for which address? I already got there 5 of them created and my question was mainly related to why the blocks found (respectively their balance) are being added to different already existing addresses AND based on what rule these are added to those specific addresses?

its listing the addresses you have sent coins from and the reason you would want to import is to have them all go to 1 wallet like say if i was running 100 vps accounts it would be a lot easier to have them all going to 1 wallet instead of having to go through each wallet dat

Not ypool, they charge the most of all pools and payments are slow compared to others.

Pool mining does have it's advantages at times.

I thing, sgminer will add this algo in short time, so be carefully to buy cat in the bag...and also solo mining is too unpredictable, you can mine days without success, or be lucky one. Buying it without ability join to some pool is not good idea, simply smart business

All XPM miners will eventually be open source.

Solo mining is more luck base than pool mining, if you don't have enough power to solo mine.

More then likely, when XPM miners will become open source that SPH Sgminer will include it.

I've found 4 blocks in 72 hours of mining with my one MSI Twin Frozr III HD7970 OC BE. None on 24 hours with the another miner.

Prime GPU please kindly reply to two questions i have:

1) Can i purchase 2 lisences only for my rig and later update to 6 liscense on the same rig?
2) Will an Intel Pentium G3220 Dual-Core Processor 3.0GHz on my ASRock H81 BTC Pro board be able to handle 6 x R9 280x to mine XPM with your miner? and if so, how much you estimate CPD will generate?

Would you rather give away a percentage of your earnings in order to have a more steady income of small amounts (pool) or solo mine with more infrequent,  larger chunks of income and keep that percentage?
By the time you add in pool fees, transaction fees and cheaters/scammers that manipulate and find a way to skim your earnings, I think solo is better.

I agree with you kev i prefer solo with one card or 100 cards with one tiny cpu or 100 high powered cpu it all adds up to the same amount over a long period of time and if your solo then imo you have chance at more you also have chance to get better transaction fees

What people don't understand is that because they swap and change coins all the time and are mining on different difficulties they have got used to pools but every pool skimms and you lose coin due to the time it takes to start getting shares...

Fact is xpm is a solo mined coin get used to it and get it through your heads its not ever going to be better then solo mining

you just need to get used to not seeing a steady stream of coins coming in but i assure you you will not get more coins from a pool!

having a low powered card gives you the same chance to get teh same amount of coins in a week if not more then what you would get at a pool so what you are screaming for guys is a middleman to rob you of ur luck to get two blocks in a row.

its crazy when i see people screaming for a pool and to me its like screaming to get shot in the head its a stupid stupid thing to want.

I however understand people don't want to be tied to a network but thats stupid in itself and the swapping and changing networks is actually whats killing this space and losing you profit..when and only when people start to realize this and we will start to see it balance out and get healthy again but until then misinformed people will continue to run from network to network every time they switch coins losing hours every time of solid mining!

Its not hard to work out that it doesn't really matter at this point what sized hardware you have or how many cards in 2 weeks you are going to get more coins solo then you will at a pool!

Yep, Just mention it in the notes when placing your order.

With the current version of the miner it'll be ~1.1 CPD.

Solo is like gambling, statistically speaking after a certain amount of bad luck it is impossible to ever make up for that bad luck with good luck. The only way to mitigate the luck factor is to have more resources.

thats is not true at all the only time a pool would be okay is when you have a coin like bitcoin where the diff is so high that it would take  more than someones lifetime to get a payout but like LNS said everybody just likes to jump around they do not care for the coin they only care about getting paid

but the fact remains pools skim and get hacked DDoS etc they go down and you lose i see people all the time say man i found a block for xxx pool wish it was solo

Using exact same processor but only 4 cards myself.  Have found 2 blocks in around past 30ish hours I would say.  If you adjust cpu settings you will find your sweet spot with it.
