not to sound as a jerk, but for a licensed software, I didn't see any update for a very long long time

Claymore had the time to put at least 3 update in the time... and other open source (non xpm one which allows to run on many algos) softwares
have mostly constant update.

Funny that people working for free do more work than those who are paid for...

Claymore has already got several times more XPMs than PrimeGPU...
And also he introduced his miner when it was rather slow so his updates were quite expectable.

I do not know much about other mentioned software to comment it.

Unfortunately we need to spend some time on pool-related issues. That is why the next version was postponed a bit.
It will be released however in 1-2 days.

What pool or pools are you going to use the pool version of the miner? Hopefully not ypool and hopefully beeeeer.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

As for the price reduction - we did it when the difficulty reached 10.7.
When I got the email with the miner.key info, difficulty was already 10.7 (April 15th). I couldn't have possibly started mining before that date, even though I paid on the 14th.
I bet I'm not the only one...

Running the miner for 48 hours and haven't got a 10-ch and/or block. Seems like solo mining is getting tougher now that the diff is at 10.8.

The "expected" numbers seem to be pretty close.  I usually seem to be pretty close lately. Use those to determine whether you should have found a block.  I would be curious whether those complaining about not getting blocks have mined until the expected is over 1.000?

Haven't found a block in a week now. Restarted my miner in between and now have: 10 chains: 2 (5 expected), blocks: 0 (1 expected). So a pool would be nice. Will mine something else until the pool is up.

We have released a new version 1.04 of PrimeGPU.

What's new:

- 30%+ speed-up for 280x's. Up-to 80% speed-up for low-end-CPU rigs;

- lower CPU requirements, same speed for '-cpuusage' option with values of 1..8;

- optimization for 290 and 7950 (separate versions of mining server are available on the first page, default version is optimized for 280x);

Note: Catalyst 14.3+ is required for this version of the miner.

We are in talks with several pools. You are right about ypool. One of our goals is to diverse the mining process. Currently ypool has more than 50% that is not so good for Primecoin.

New version is free for existing customers and available for purchasing for anybody.

Pool mining is not ready yet... preparation is in progress. There will be some extra dev. fee there.

Please PM me your email address used in registration. When we reduced the price we offered small payback for everybody who bought the miner during last 2 days before the price reduction.

You mean there will be dev fee even if you paid licenses?
