Well all you vericoin nutthuggers can hold your investment and pray it goes up in the next 6 months, but I'm telling you right now you are stupid for not dumping what you have and just saying au revoir.   You have been warned.  I'm moving on with my life....

You previously said you are moving on, yet here you are again spewing that lovely language of yours. we get it, you hate the coin, the community etc.. ok got it..again.. now please move along.  Roll Eyes
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

It is interesting, the trolls and vericoin haters immediately here after Doug, EffectsToCause posted at http://bit.ly/1skaKJJ and http://bit.ly/1A24Xt7, and once the community is reassured that the developers are committed to the project and working on great features and new, exciting things are in the development pipeline then it seems other coins enter to worrying mode, and then come here to troll.

Anyway, I look forward to see the white paper from the devs that Doug mentioned in that post. We all know Buterin's white paper and Gavin Wood's yellow paper started what kind of storm with Ethereum, that storm size is US$ 15 million right now and the whole thing is started with two excellent white/yellow papers. Based on what I can see from the team I believe the vericoin devs capable to produce a similar quality material than Ethereum has, and then the Vericoin future will be very bright.

+100

Yeah I don't get it either, are people that worried that they have to constantly bash and FUD this coin every time the DEVs announce something positive? What are they so afraid of?

I see them as bitter, childish, salty. Downright lame.

It's okay cause we see you as foolish.  I wish I had listened to bob surplus earlier and not you veri-cheerleaders.  You can take my 1 BTC and shove it up your asses.  I know I will probably never see that again if I stick around, now I have to recoup my losses elsewhere.  Knew I should have gotten out on that last spike, it's going to be the last one vericoin will ever see LOL.

Just wanted to post up before anyone starts screaming the Devs ran off again because they have been quiet that I have been in contact with them and they are working on the new wallet UI, helping the third party finish the iOS Wallet and working on other things that are yet to be announced....so stay tuned. Completely random question but is there any significance to the number of "active connections" displayed within the wallet? I am often between 2-5 connections and was wondering if it means anything? Perhaps more connections = greater chance of staking faster?

Any response is appreciated.

Oh look more wild accusations and outright lies......IGNORE....

To answer your question Xosihc the number of connections is namely that your number of connections to the VRC Network, so more connections = more stable network connection but does not affect your stake chance

EDIT:

LMAO look at that your mother trolls' post history, he does absolutely NOTHING but FUD the hell out of every thread he comes into contact with.....credibility = 0

I hope that P.Nosker will answer here soon. Monkeys wrote, that Patrick sold 200K after the rollback and we didn't got an answer if that's true or just a rumor.

He said that he didn't sell any of his coins.  Like, 500 times.

Why is he a prick?  Because hes right, and trying to warn you?  Just because you disagree doesn't mean it isn't true.  I guess one or the other will be proved right in the coming months... honestly I don't want to wait that long there is way more action other places.  When people are in control of this much money it seems like its only a matter of time before they try to con their customers out of their money by claiming they were 'hacked'.  Mt Gox got away with it so now everybody thinks they can.

Any response is appreciated.

Not sure if you solved this problem, but I was having the same issue and now have over 31 active connections to the network.

The issue for me was with my wireless router settings:
Try this first.
1) check your router config/administration to see if UPnP is Enabled or available. Restart router/wallet/pc.
This may solve your problem.

Also check to see if you have a vericoin.conf file set up and using a text editor, see if the following supernodes are present in plain text.
addnode=supernode.vericoin.info
addnode=supernode2.vericoin.info
addnode=supernode3.vericoin.info
addnode=supernode4.vericoin.info
addnode=supernode5.vericoin.info

For me (linux/ubuntu) I also had to
2) manually set my IP address out of the DHCP range (was 192.168.1.1 through192.168.1.200) I manually set to 192.168.1.201 as an example.
3) enable port forwarding for port 58683 in router to this IP address.
