It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

You have to import your wallet.dat file or the private keys of your BTC, LTC or DOGE into the CLAMclient. If you are completely new to crypto and just wish to sell then you may prefer to use just-dice.com to claim your CLAMs. For more help please visit the IRC channel: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=clams

Hello everyone I just launched CLAMS Roulette for the community I hope everyone likes it. Please give suggestions for improvements please!

http://clamsroulette.com

Not really Roulette, more of a wheel of chance.  I prefer real roulette, Single 0 even better.

I didn't have a balance so I don't know if the text would change colors, but I could just barely make out the Your Balance with the clam in the background.

no Help or FAQ button?

Balance on the withdrawal popup.

Add IRC to the #Clams button.  I didn't know what it was, till I clicked it....  Smiley

Otherwise it looks ok.

What's your prediction on CLAMS price in the next few days folks? Did it already reach the max yesterday (not considering July peak) or it is just standing still a bit to reach ..... ?
Dooglus effect will still impact positively on this coin or it already did?
What do you feel?

At this point it's just a bunch of "ORPHAN BLOCK 751" messages, although the block hashes for each seem to be different. It doesn't seem to be accepting new blocks. Is the client hitting some sort of limit? I have to stop and restart it in order for it to accept more network blocks. Once it hits 751 orphan blocks it gets stuck again. This has happened about 5 times now.

The phrase "ORPHAN BLOCK 751" currently appears 51327 times in my debug log. Now on 6th restart.

My little amateur analysis on the price : it should go up as gamblers lose their CLAM and need to buy more to keep playing on j-d. The CLAM they lost will be hoarded in the j-d bankroll.

More CLAM will be diged and will supply a portion of the demand but think the price will go up as the demand for CLAM grows from the people who want to invest more in the j-d bankroll, want to play or understand the dynamics and buy CLAM to make a profit.

On one hand, the price went up from 0.0005 to 0.004 but 0.01 will be reached again within months, 0.005-0.006 could become a floor in Early 2015 and we may see 0.02 and up in 2015.

On the other hand, maybe a big bitcoin website has tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of addresses with CLAM. If it digs them and dumps them on the market, we will be lucky to sustain 0.0015 Grin

The challenge for every POS coin is getting people to use/buy&sell the coin rather than just hoarding it in a wallet. With a 1% house edge JD allows quite a bit of fluidity - some people will cash out coins, others will buy to play - it's win-win.

One of the major "risks" with CLAM would be that nobody digs them up and a limited supply could dry up. We NEED lots of CLAMs to be dug up for the long-term future of the coin. Even if that means temporary dips in the market price Wink

What is the conversion rate from BTC, LTC & DOGE to CLAM? In other words, how many CLAMs do you get for your BTC, LTC & DOGE? Was scanning & searching the thread but missed it.
