1001  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Do you exchange gift cards to BTC? on: February 27, 2019, 12:18:31 PM
10% is really not a bad rate, considering all the people on paxful want atleast a 25% markup, and usually only accept physical Amazon cards.

Which makes me wonder, how are you going to prevent fraudulent cards from cashing out etc..?
Seems like scammers will simply target you because of the speed and irreversibility you're offering. Could be just me being pessimistic again, but you should really keep that in mind.

EDIT:
Also might be good to mention that you only accept physical gift cards since I notice you require a picture of the gift card being sold for BTC in the selling process. I usually buy digital gift codes, so this doesn't work for people like me and this should be mentioned on the homepage of the site if you choose to keep things like this rather than in the middle of the transfer process.
They don't? where do they state this? - Also again, pictures could easily be faked/photoshopped. just saying.
1002  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paxful or LocalBitcoins? Which one is better and why? on: February 26, 2019, 06:08:16 PM
Paxful offers more anonimity for sellers as well. LBC for example requires every vendor to provide their ID, Paxful doesn't.

However, this might chance very soon again. https://paxful.com/blog/id-and-address-verification-update/

Quote
All of our users can immediately choose to verify their IDs and vendors will have the option to require it of their trade partners. In about one month’s time, ID verification will also be mandatory for all users who wish to post an offer.

As others have mentioned, I personally prefer the UI of Paxful over that of LBC, but LBC is way more trustworthy(longer in the game) and has a lot more trade activity/vendors.

However, in terms of privacy I think that paxful may have the upper edge. Localbitcoins has recently implemented a verification system that forces you to submit ID once you reach a certain threshold of trading volume, on top of the fact that they already force you to verify if you want to place any ads. From experience, there are also more ads on paxful that allow you to buy/sell with certain payment methods without needing to be verified.

Quote
Additionally, the following mandatory verification checks will be imposed:

Users who reach an equivalent of $1,500 in trade volume or wallet activity must provide ID for verification.
Users who reach $10,000 in trade volume or wallet activity must provide ID and address verification.
Users who reach higher trade volumes or engage in certain wallet activity may undergo enhanced due diligence and may be asked for additional information.
All buyers of bitcoin for bank transfer must provide ID and address verification.

3. Your price is slightly higher than other services.
Not to trash his service, but without any proof that his services are done by real people, his prices are off by multiple orders of magnitude.

Youtube Video Views WORLDWIDE (5000 Views For $32)
Meanwhile, https://bulkfollows.com/services offers 1000 views for 0.24$.

Quote
Instagram Followers WORLDWIDE (500 Followers For $5)
Bulkfollows offers them at 0.12$ per 1k. Ofcourse these are fake, but what's to say that yours aren't (?) nothing..?
1004  Economy / Services / Re: *Need someone to verify LinkedIn accounts by SMS | 2$ per account on: February 26, 2019, 11:44:54 AM
Right now we also need for FB either in Canada or USA (only).

Please send PM.
Do the USA numbers on SMSPVA not work for you?

You could also try https://www.textverified.com/Verifications/ , they offer non-VOIP USA numbers for various applications, including google voice & Facebook.

As per my communication with him over Skype, he is looking for personal mobile numbers as he might require the number again for SMS code in future, for which he will be paying 1$ every time that happens. Online number providers are good for use-and-throw purposes.
If he needs personal numbers then I think he should pay more for that because one of those numbers could cost up to 10$ monthly if you want to buy it online.

I'm not sure, but he might want to look into Google voice.
You can get a Gvoice number for like 2.5$, and you keep the number forever i think. Not sure if it works with LinkedIn though.

1006  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Looking to buy a bitcoin faucet on: February 25, 2019, 01:37:50 PM
I've seen some faucet owners trying to sell their faucet in the Faucethub.io chat box.

Maybe if you ask around a bit in chat, https://faucethub.io/faucets/BTC, you'll eventually find someone who's willing to sell theirs.
(Probably because they aren't really making a profit.)

Always use escrow!
1007  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin for paypal on: February 24, 2019, 01:21:12 PM
Why will I reply it wheb you have RED remarks fully on your trust page. Can't waste my time. Obviously i know what you want to do.
Obviously this is your own choice and opinion, but surely you must know that this does reflect pretty poorly on you and whether or not you actually want to trade, or rather just waste other people's time.

Anyways, good luck getting someone who is *more* trustworthy than me to go first (since that's what you're really after.).
1008  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: selling and buying bitcoin with giftcard question on: February 23, 2019, 07:07:35 PM
I dont think anyone that replied really understood what I was asking. So.... I understand how to sell and buy giftcards, but what i do not understand is how I get my btc replenished after doing so

No one here knows, or is going to tell you how exactly they do it.

I could make an educated guess though;

1. they sell you BTC for your giftcards.
2. they then resell the giftcards, or services that the giftcard provide to a third party with profit.
3. Use profit/returns to buy giftcards again.
...
4. Profit.

Now how exactly vendors create these traderoutes, is something they're probably not going to tell you, otherwise they'll soon be out of business/get less profit. It's really up to you to find something that works.
1009  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin for paypal on: February 23, 2019, 06:02:04 PM
OP called me untrustworthy, and told me to go first..  Huh

When asked about doing an escrow/motivation behind his thoughts, he simply stopped responding.

Not saying that OP is a scammer, but i'd be very careful when trading with this user, and never go first under any circumstance.
1010  Other / Meta / Re: Impossible to login via TOR on: February 19, 2019, 04:08:04 PM
My friend's account got banned because he tried to log in via TOR
I'm assuming you're talking about a brand-new account?

Probably because the exit node he was using was abused by someone else already, in which case he needs to pay an "evil-"ip"" fee. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1215937.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=711968.msg8044683#msg8044683

If he was using an account which already made posts, i can assure you, his ban is not from logging in through tor.
1011  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Private phone numbers on: February 15, 2019, 07:04:13 PM
I can't seem to find a service that provides private phone numbers to receive SMS or calls. It should be unique and never been used before and will never be used as long as I'm in control of the account.

The main purpose is to just make a new Telegram account while keeping it totally under my control.

Have you tried using a service such as TextNow/Textverified to create a google voice account, and to then use the google voice account for your telegram account?

That way, you have a number that will always be yours...(AFAIK?)

Not sure if Telegram works with google voice though, as some services detect their numbers as VOIP.
1012  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Portfolio apps on: February 15, 2019, 01:51:20 PM
As above user mentioned, you mean something like Blockfolio/Coinstats/Cointracker?

I think the only thing that the above mentioned services are missing is an API that automatically imports your balances from exchanges, (correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure you have to fill it out manually.), but that could potentially open it up to a lot of abuse (?)

https://blockfolio.com/
https://coinstats.app/
http://cointicker.info/

Or something like - http://altpocket.io/, where people can verify your actual $$$ invested?
1013  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buy BTC with Credit Card - NO VERIFICATION? on: February 14, 2019, 06:33:36 PM
....* like Localbitcoins and Paxful allow you to buy BTC through PayPal without an ID, but you’ll be paying a pretty steep premium over market prices there.
Yep, just paxful though, i think you need to verify your ID on LBC no matter what.

On Paxful i have yet to seem someone offer any acceptable rate. At best you're going to pay a ~20% rate, and you'll have to go through various steps the seller has planned out -- Checking your IP usually, buying their e-books/whatever.

It's really a damn hassle.

1014  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: What private key format to use to import a Bip-38 paper wallet into Electrum? on: February 14, 2019, 04:15:16 PM
Are you sure you decrypted the wallet correctly?

You should be able to import the decrypted "Private key WIF (51 characters base 58, starts with a "5")" in electrum just fine.

Maybe check if you've made any copy&pasting mistakes somewhere?

I tried the first starting with "5" but Electrum's IMPORT button remains greyed out so it can't be that. I
I just generated a BIP38 wallet, decrypted it, and imported this very key into electrum without any problems..? Maybe try to make a new electrum wallet instead of trying to import the key into an already existing one, i'm not sure, but perhaps that could be an issue..?

1016  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] 500$ Paypal [W] 250$ BTC, 50% PROFIT FOR YOU on: February 14, 2019, 04:08:11 PM
Hello, I have 500$ on Paypal, I want  250$ in BTC,  its  50% profit for you
I will send as friend and family !!!

Pm me
You can also write in this thread

Just out of curiosity, would you be willing to go first?

Even if he is offering to go first, DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!

He can always chargeback up to 180 days after making the transaction, and if he uses paypal as a 3rd party to a bank account or credit card, it could even be longer.

Read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14632.0, & simply google "Paypal Chargebacks"

Hello, no i'm not going first under any circumstances , even if you are very trusted
I'm the most trusthworthy guy here, don't worry !

Huh
Pathetic troll using sarcasm in a way it really isn't intended to be used?
1017  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: February 09, 2019, 12:32:41 PM
Please explain what will happen in this situation.

1) I send 2.049 BTC to ChipMixer and choose to get a a voucher.
What kind of voucher(s) I get? Is it one for 2.049 BTC or two for 2.048 BTC + 0.001 BTC?
2) Another mix, I send 2.048 BTC, also choose to get a voucher.
What kind of voucher(s) I get?
3) I want to sweep my vouchers. So I submit all of them from steps 1&2, what are my options now?
Can I specify what kind of chips I want to get? Can I choose 4.096 BTC chip now? Do I have to completely spend the whole value I have in vouchers right now (can I keep 0.001 BTC for the future mix in voucher form)?
Can I choose to make ChipMixer send me the whole 4.097 BTC to my single address in 1 tx (note, it's not a size of a chip)?
Can I choose ChipMixer to give me 1.024 BTC chip privkey? What will happen to the remainder value (3.073) in vouchers? Will I get new vouchers?
4) If I choose to make ChipMixer send me the value I want, what fee do they use?

PS How big is ChipMixer's pool? If I want to mix 100 BTCs in a month will I start getting my own BTC in a week or will they all be not the ones I deposited?

1) You probably get one of 2.048, and one of 0.001, yes.
However you can always split them down. So 2.048 can become 1.024 etc.

2) Correct me if i'm wrong, but that will also result in a chip of 2.048? -Except if they don't have those available, you will get a chip of 1.024 + smaller onces totalling to 2.048

3) You import the privkeys of them into a wallet such as Electrum, then send all of them to another adress you own?

Afaik, you can split down chips, although i'm not entirely sure if you can also *always* group/merge them together to get a higher one (I think i was unable to do so a couple times..?).

You'll probably end up with two of 1.024 BTC chips, and one 2.048 chip that you can withdraw.

4) You decide. they simply provide a private key with the balance. You're free to spend them with whatever fee you'd like.

No one knows, except for Chipmixer themselves AFAIK.

very urgent 15euro Paypal F&F to 10euro btc or eth

For those rates i'm pretty sure you'll be able to make a deal with someone trusted on Paxful. - https://paxful.com/

I myself wouldn't make a deal with you due to you being untrusted and the consequences that could carry -- chargebacking. certain traders on paxful however, would gladly carry those risks for a 50% fee.

See more specifically; https://paxful.com/buy-bitcoin/paypal/EUR?fiat-min=25#content
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling? on: February 08, 2019, 04:34:38 PM
How could one possibly gamble without any capital? That's a prerequisite, yes.

Or are you referring to 0-confirmation deposits? In which case i'm pretty sure you'll need to wait until the deposit has atleast (1) confirmation before you can withdraw any coins, or well, i'm guessing that's the case with most casinos to prevent doublespends.
